  • The official jobs report came out, and job growth was way up! It was so good that they even revised March and April up! They even said that it was easy to get a job again! Isn’t that great! Vote for MAGA!

FUCK those treasonous pedophiles. Obviously after month after month of layoffs over AI, and more profits, jobs are trending down, and everybody knows it. Ask any college grad how easy it is to get a job that doesn’t require a name tag.

So of course they gamed the numbers, and Hey! Would you look at that! We found a bunch more jobs from the last few months, too! Mighty convenient.

You can’t believe ANYTHING that comes out of this MAGA government. Cheating is their brand, lying is their greatest tool. They will forge whatever reports they need to to support their lies. By November, they will have reports that say inflation is negative -10%, and 130% of Americans will have jobs paying above the median.

And we’ll have health care in two weeks.

  • Frankly, it’s getting better, by getting worse. They are losing in court on literally everything. He lost so much this week, that they literally gave him a consolation win: they codified the name change to “The Department of War.” That was his big win this week.

There is strong feeling that the momentum is now with the Democrats, and they are slowly, but inexorably grinding way at MAGA. Approval rates are steadily declining, and are close to dropping below the 30 percent mark. MAGA politicians are starting to push back against Trump, some even losing their protected status. He will really bleed support after the bloodbath Midterms, as the survivors look forward to 2028. A LOT of them are not going to want to be remembered as MAGA traitors when the Dems fully take over in 2028, so they will be whistling a different tune after the Midterms.

There is a definite feeling of a political shift in the country, and it’s not just on the left. MAGA is in deep trouble, and they know it. They are fighting for their literal lives now, and they’re going to get rough. But the rest of us know it, and we’re ready. We aren’t afraid of them, and we’re looking forward to punishing them for their CRIMES.

There will be a big change in America after the Midterms.

  • Somebody is going to say that they are in competitive seats, so they had to vote with MAGA, but that’s for when you’re going to win the vote anyway, so you let a few vote against it to save face - but you don’t lose the vote.

These are just four traitors who are too stupid to read their memos. The DNC is no longer in charge, we are. The Dems are where the Tea Party was in 2010 - we’re taking over the party, and we don’t care what the establishment Corporate Dems want. They are nearly as responsible for this mess as MAGA, and the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries is big part of the problem.

I’m hearing calls for Schmuck’s removal as Senate leader, but Jeffries has got his people praising his piss poor leadership. They’re saying that he’s been able to balance the growing progressive movement, but that’s about to explode in the House after the Midterms. The Progressive wing will not only be larger than ever, they will be highly MOTIVATED to collect MAGA scalps, and Jeffries better cooperate, or he’ll be gone, too.

I’m not even for giving him a shot. He had his shot during the Biden administration, and he was more than willing to follow the Biden Administrations slow walk on punishing Trump. Just replace him with someone who is willing to fight for us.

  • For that matter, many states, ALL Red, are still at the Federal Minimum Wage of $7.25, which hasn’t been increased since 2009.

It can be argued that $7.25 in 2026 is LITERALLY a Slave Wage, especially from the perspective of a corporation or billionaire. At least the antebellum plantation slave owner was expected to provide food, shelter, and clothing for their slaves, as inadequate as it was, but 21st century plantation owners don’t even have to supply that much, and the stipend they offer to cover those expenses is far below the level it takes to provide them. Slave quarters may have been terrible, but at least they weren’t homeless.

    We are already Slaves.

  • The only QUOTE in the article was the DA, but I will REPEAT the passage I quoted in my previous post:

Polanski’s nomination had triggered a spirited debate over whether it was appropriate to separate a person’s misdeeds from his art and award Hollywood’s highest filmmaking honor to someone facing a still-unresolved criminal case.

That is pre-MAGA CBS News making that claim that there was a “spirited debate,” and you are simply dismissing that because they don’t quote or name every person involved in that debate? Are you claiming that CBS News just made that up?

Because my recollection, which includes multiple conversations about this with my son who is a cinephile, with one degree in film, and getting another, is very different. I’m not an expert, but he definitely is, and he will tell you that Polanski’s career definitely suffered, and his legacy will definitely be badly compromised.

I’ve offered sources that support my position, but you haven’t offered any evidence of your position, other than he was given a very controversial Oscar. You haven’t offered a single source that reinforced your claim that Polanski’s career has been untouched by his sexually criminal past.
