
It will depend on the material under the paint. Any particulate board you will probably want to replace. Wood can be dried, sanded and repainted depending on the depth of the damage.
But you will need to check the state of the material under the paint to know for sure.
Edit: looking closer at the picture it looks like melamine maybe? If that is the case you should replace it if possible.

Paying a contribution will not give me the feature I want or need from a project, most project explicitly say so. Paying for a LLM to create a PR or a fork that will contain that feature is often a lot easier and a pretty good guarantee I will get it.
I am not diving into the code quality or maintainability of such PR/forks which is a whole thing in itself.
