  • Splitgate AR. The game experience is unmatched compared to any FPS I’ve ever played. Sure, the gunplay feels close to Halo, but you need to be very aware of portals you can use, and possible enemy flanks. Races can teach even beginners how to use portal play to move all around the map really fast

I sort of get why most people couldn’t get used to it. When players are zooping around everywhere and you play like a sitting duck especially when you first step into the game, it probably feels like a tryhard game, and it’s really difficult to step into that kind of game given the current era of fps games with skill based matchmaking all around. But once you learn playing around portals, there’s no other fps that become as intense as it.

  • Balatro and Slay The Spire 2 are roguelikes that have a lot of replayability.

Trackmania, you can give it a shot with Nations Forever it’s free on steam. Turbo/TM2 are graphically improved versions of it, 2020 is the newest one that most people play but has a lot of its features locked behind a yearly subscription. Go with the previous ones if offline play is a must.

Baba Is You is a real brain burner puzzle game that makes you think out of the box a lot of time.

  • I own PES 2008 on my PS3, and never felt the need to upgrade throughout its many yearly upgrades. It was just a game to play with my brother if we wanted to play together.

Have tried EA 2026 football game on a playstation cafe with friends a few months ago and I did not think there was anything new compared to what i played as a kid. Sure, you can play the game at 4K, but I don’t even own a 4K TV, and certainly not getting one when all the tv brands keep putting smart tv crap with ads on them.
