She’s been in the news this week because a long running court battle that she was involved in has wrapped up.

I’m no expert but the whole thing tied back to the estate of her father who died back in the 90s and left her the mineral mining business she’s turned into a huge fortune. Years ago some other members of her family went to court to get some of her money, and it took decades but they succeeded.

Gina Rinehart seems like an awful person, and in all likelihood the victorious family members are no better. The amount paid was insignificant to someone so obscenely wealthy.
