Yeah, I got that later. It just took me a while to get that Phoenix was being misread as penis. Not that close. Might as well pick any word starting with a P.

Ok. I debated that but thought the privacy group seemed appropriate. Continued in AskLemmy.

Huh?

Thank you!

What about apps that are already installed? Are they going to be blocked from running a soon as I upgrade?
My launcher is from F-Droid.

It’s not that close to me but I’m angling to go there for the assignment. I don’t get good oysters very often.

Which brings me to Phoenix for Firefox…

I agree. You don’t have to convince me. I’ve been on mastodon for almost 8 years and it gets better every day.

Nice work, keep it up. But Phoenix for Firefox and IronFox for me. They don’t really interfere with my browsing.

I’m easily out if they screw it up, I’m in the fediverse at least as much as there. So far, I’m OK with them and I want to see what happens with this protocol. Mastodon needs some work too.

I’m in Alabama. Wintzell’s is great. The sign is real.

Tags are fine for that although not all things are tagged well.
As for algorithms, they are only as bad as they are implemented. They don’t have to promote rage and ads. Bluesky does this well by allowing many user created feeds to choose from. Mastodon needs this option.

I guess I don’t care that much at this point but I’m out as soon as I see the first ad.

Lemmy doesn’t have this problem, but mastodon needs algorithms. Otherwise, discovery is more difficult and you must be around at the same time people of interest are either there or being boosted. People leave thinking it’s boring.

They banned journalists? Who?
And I didn’t know about the redirects and tracking either. They are doing that without ads?
Gen X is most of the fediverse!
