Hopefully our ai overlords will save us from our mortal vessels.

It’s surely much simpler then a real car since i could disassemble the whole car in an hour and put it back together in around the same time i think XD

I started playing car mechanic simulator VR so i’m learning how to take appart every part of a car to find their issues. Right now the floor is full of engine parts since i’m trying to find what the client said made a noise XD

Since it uses a mobile chip is it any good for real tasks or is it very limited?

People can ask an AI summary of the AI book i guess XD

For me that’s not true for VR games. There’s still a lot to do in terms of graphics and they are harder and harder to run with VR headsets that always need more resolutions to make the games look how they should look without so many visible pixels. The new 4K per eye panels are pretty much perfect but that’s really hard to run.

Don’t worry they’ll turn their datacenters into virtual PC hosting so that people who can’t afford to upgrade will have to rent the hardware…

That’s true! The Haste game mechanics would make an insane Sonic game :0

Well mateo311 just made a new top 100 VR games so here you go XD i mostly agree with the choices but i only play PCVR so i don’t know the psvr2 and quest games he mentioned. https://youtu.be/3oxbi7OoSLc

I’ve been mostly playing microsoft flight simulator 2020 in VR and a patreon work in progress build of a game called grimorium. It’s extremely bare bones still but it’s nice to see what the dev is working on and adding on a weekly basis updated build. I like how i just asked if it would be hard to add a 3D mode for me to play on a 3D VR flat screen and they just went ahead and added a stereoscopic mode that i can use for that. So i’ve been testing and exploring the world in 3D this week :)

Honestly that’s probably the closest they ever got.

For a quick answer i’ll give you my most played VR games and i might update this comment tomorrow with actual preferences. Beatsaber, skyrim VR, grimlord, legendary tales, windlands, blade and sorcery, payday 2, behemoth, …

I really hope a lot of new people jump in and discover how truly incredible VR games are :)

I’ll also be waiting for a mext batch… the steam frame will be a nightmare to get if it’s like this too… i have close to 9 000 hours in steamVR i wish that would count for something when getting the new headset.

There can be events that make the pressure spike and if a line freezes pressure goes up quite a bit and it’s best that the points of failure are as strong as possible or at least as strong as the pipe itself. Wich apparently sharkbite might not be.

Tbf the video did say that sharkbite where not able to sustain as much pressure as a weld but still the slop machine doesn’t know shit and will be wrong.

I work in plumbing and my boss sent me a youtube video he found interesting about pressure limits of sharkbite vs welds and halfway through i knew it was AI generated and that the data couldn’t be trusted so i told him it was AI and i had to explain to him what i saw in the video that to me screamed AI so hopefully he won’t be caught again…

Literally the “doctor” from idiocracy with the board of symptoms that shits out what the patient needs.

Why not a chip fab ship?
I watched a guy who worked as a mechanic for a couple years play it and he said it was very accurate to a real car but without the wires and tubes. I got it on sale for like $2. I just checked and it’s still on sale.
