It’s an ad for a compliance management service, but it is also a pretty good satire of how corporate execs appear to be approaching AI.
I keep picking instances that don’t last. I’m formerly known as:

Well yeah, that’s why it automatically calls his lawyer. Edit: That and also the likely criminal charges.

The headline does not say if it’s New York State or New York City, which are different things. So, I skimmed the article, and I still am not clear on which passed the tax law change. Officials from both governments are quoted back and forth. Maybe I missed it, but I couldn’t find anywhere that specifies.

That’s a good question. On the plus side, if they don’t voluntarily report it and the state does find out, that’s tax fraud against the state, which the president can’t pardon away.
My friends and I quoted this too each other frequently back in college, to the confusion and sometimes concern of those who weren’t aware of the video. We even found a spoon that really was too big and just had to buy it.

It never was, and the current technology never can be.

The good news it’s the state of Virginia, not the federal government, that could file these charges, so the president would have no ability to pardon it. The bad news is that it’s hypothetical. We can all see the crime was committed, but that doesn’t mean a Virginia prosecutor will actually go through with pursuing the case on Monday, or any other day.

That’s a lot of sales. I was going to wait, but it was a slow day at work, so my boss bought and played it the moment it went live. After seeing him play, I wanted it too. I bought it that night. I didn’t factor it into my decision buy, but I take joy at imagining certain dickheads at Krafton watching those sales numbers shoot up.

“A censure temporarily bars him from speaking or participating in party-sponsored events.”
More importantly, it makes a statement that they managed to get enough politicians to all agree on the record that they strongly disagree with the governor’s action.

It’s worth noting that the city says it was denied because their application was missing required information, not due to the large public outcry. They further noted that the company can fix those issues and ask for the application to be reconsidered, which would skip further public input.
Sounds to me like they might just be making sure there’s no technicality issues to protect from possible lawsuits after they ignore the public and allow it anyway. We’ll see, I guess.

Yeah, PSU is my top guess based on what all you’ve said. My next step would be to swap to a test PSU to see if it behaves, but since that’s not an option for you now, testing the other things people have suggested is worth a shot and can’t hurt.

Usually a memory fault results in random blue screens on most crashes, not in a consistent pattern of going dark and booting again. Still, it could be memory, and it doesn’t hurt to try it.

Sorry if we don’t just take your word for it. So far, we’ve only you seen you trying to police the ones that hurt your own feelings. If you go on to prove me wrong, I’ll gladly apologize.

There’s a distinct difference between hateful rhetoric and good natured blowing off a little steam, and the examples you give are very clearly in the latter category. I take no offense at these posts because I know that the sort of men they are talking about very much do exist, and I also know I’m not one of them. It’s ok they didn’t add an addendum remembering that other sorts of men exist; not everything has to be about me.
Also, by taking offense at these posts, you are literally acting out the the second one right now. Got to appreciate the irony of it.
Edit: I forgot to say, the “for centuries” bit is obviously referring to it being ingrained into our cultures.

I checked and it looks like no one is selling these yet.

Fair enough. Since we don’t really know, we can choose any plausible explanation.

To me, the line “I’m sorry. I’m leaving on my own.” implies that he was given the option of suicide, or something far worse, and he made his choice.

Well, obviously an adult, but I admit I’m a little unsure about which one. Hope that helps.

I like the thought, but it won’t work. The big websites won’t be willing to lose money they don’t have to, and like ID laws that give them reasons to extract more data from users anyway.
The engineer characters at the end go on a tangent discussing the advantages of a specific compliance website that has nothing to do with the joke. The same site that was briefly mentioned in the exec meeting. I guess another way to look at it is that it’s entertainment with a sponsorship shoehorned in, but I didn’t notice it ever say there was a sponsorship. I’ll check out some more from the channel. It was good satire.
