Do you have any source for this? EVs have so much fewer parts which need maintenance or could reasonably have to be replaced. Also batteries these days are gonna last for a long time judging from what I’ve seen.
I see some of the pain points from the original commentator, but it’s partially an unequal comparison, because many people compare used ICE cars to new EVs. But your comment is stating it like it’s snake oil.

Aaaaah… If they were just so restrictive on gun laws… insert image of utopian healthy world here
Grandpa*
My uncle was the “victim” :D
I am German and have an uncle whose name is Adolf. His dad/my grandpa also had the name Adolf, but he got the name before WWII.
My parents told me that my uncle has this name because my grandpa misunderstood the nurse when my uncle was born. He supposedly understood “What’s your name?”, while she asked “How should he be named?”. He then said “Adolf” obviously, because that’s his name. And it’s said that once they figured out the error, it was too late to be undone.
There’s a certain scepticism about this story being real. But for sure my grandpa didn’t do it to honor Adolf Hitler (aka being a Nazi. I don’t know about his doings during WWII tbh, but at least how I perceived him, he didn’t have any sympathy for Nazis), maybe he did it because he wanted to name a son after himself while the name was burnt…
Just a tidbit from my life :D

Not all heroes wear capes.
Ngl, at times I found that he was pretty exaggerating and just talking way too much bullshit at companies, because I thought that all of these topics are not that important and you kinda need to have some dependence on big companies because you can’t do it in a good way yourself or open source or whatever. But recent events have shown that you should battle against companies and also you can do stuff yourself, if you just keep going and host a great community.
Kudos to Rossmann for his work.

Just watched these two videos 6 hours ago hahaha, without knowing him or the article or the post.

Time to finally finish setting up my immich instance properly.

If only gimp wasn’t garbage… Tbh I’m also kinda wondering how Affinity did pull off the move they made with their 3 programs turning into one, at the same time redoing so much of it.am And why foss can’t do it.
Of course there’s money and closed source is probably messier in a lot of places than foss is (or at least targets to be), but is that it?

Raycast, HazeOver, Nightfall, Amphetamine, Yabai, Glide, AltTab, AlDente, MonitorControl, LinearMouse come to my mind right now. Probably forgot a few.

But it’s not about signing the weapons but about blocking the weapon even being printed. Also, 3d printers are a lot more prone to failures and not holding the exact line.

Is it’s the biggest success in 25 years (which I don’t really believe), this doesn’t matter
I played GW1 as a young kid and then was very much into GW2 for a long time. It’s probably the game I spent easily the most time of my life with. The past few years I dropped it because I felt like the quality dropped and also they focused on the wrong stuff (for me). But it still is a nice game and I like to look into it from time to time.
I’ve been waiting for GW3 for some time actually, the promise of the story has me hyped a bit, but yeah, the action-based combat puts me off a bit. We’ll have to see.
But in a 2nd video they released yesterday, they told people that they will continue to support and develop for all 3 games going forward. So people who like GW2, but not GW3 are eventually saved :D
