Same brought mine almost 8 years ago, and have never had to pay them a cent more.
Overall not a bad investment.
And plex just looks nicer and offers a better experience.
If it changes I’ll consider migrating but for the moment Plex had done right by thier lifetime pass members
My last build and current have been a Thinkstation and a z series workstation, both used from ex-gov auctions, were decently priced, will run everything you wanna throw at them.
They do come at the cost of increased power draw, but since I’ve put in solar I’m not worried about that.

Well I’d argue that with the changes to Manifest, Brave is actually one of your stronger options if chrome is a must have.
If you don’t need chrome, Firefox (or a fork) with ublock is enough for most.
I couldn’t agree more, for me LibreWolf is my preferred, but with work, or syncing or compatibility brave just provides are good out of box experience. Is the crypto stuff garbage,? Yeah but breaking news, you can turn that stuff off.

I also find it ironic that ppl get on thier high horse, going this company said something that’s bad, which they post from thier iphone/macbook, which was built though child labour, modern slavery and worker suicides, by a company which actively has anti consumer practices. Yes buying second hand stops you giving your money to Google, however it still supports ppl buying them in the first place. And that supports Google.
I wish there was more options in the Graphene space as it’s something I’d love to tinker with too. But also don’t wanna buy from Google.
