I think about this often, and for me its a hard thing to let somebody I love go. If there’s a chance I’d keep holding on- come as often as I can, read and so on. Unless I was told explicitly that they wouldn’t want that. But even then, people change their minds. Like in the article, some people in non verbal states can communicate that they are happy enough. Heart wrenching stuff.

To properly answer this question one must look inwardly. To do that one should follow these steps:
Then ask yourself: ‘Is looksmaxxing still relevant?’

Yep, says so in the article too. I think the difference is the scale of it.
The longer I look at it the more funny I think it is, but in a sad depressing kind of way.
It’s the grotesque representation of the hatred of programmers. Execs want to replace expensive software developers at all costs and non programmers look at software devs as lazy and overpaid, who don’t do a real job.

I don’t know. My first job was in a cubicle and it was in the middle of a large floor. There wasn’t any natural light and the cubicles spread in all directions for what felt like forever. Like, its nice to have your personal space but it sucks to have the hours blend together because you’re in a liminal space where you can’t tell if you’re alive or dead.
I’d rather live in a forest than ever use windows again. Hope they crash and burn.
