  • I am not.

A meme is, by definition, something that is being copied, spread and reused. In order for this to be an “original meme,” it needs to be the origin of a new meme format, which will then be copied and iterated on, usually by re-using the language or re-using the physical format.

You just posted your shitty opinion in speech bubbles and called it a meme, because you don’t know what a meme is.

  • Unironically, exactly right.

This is the same reason they see homosexuality as a sinful choice, and take issue with homosexuals just simply being alive. They struggled so hard to suppress their homosexual urges, and now these people are flaunting theirs, openly? And the rest of the world wants to celebrate this moral failure, despite it being something that everyone struggles with? I mean the mental gymnastics required to succeed in choosing to be heterosexual, while celebrating someone else who failed to do so is just absolutely insane.

You can see how this all logics together if you assume everyone feels the way you do, and you’re fighting an urge to do something you see as morally wrong. Obviously, abusing your teenage daughters trust to give yourself a mild sexual release is morally wrong, but the point stands. These people play the moral high ground card because they struggle with these thoughts every single day.

  • I dislike people normalizing hate speech through this kind of space, but I largely agree. If people want to follow a curator that will make sure they aren’t emotionally blindsided by a female protagonist showing affection towards another woman, for example, that’s a choice they can make. We wouldn’t want the chuds to get their feelings hurt, afterall.

But in all seriousness, that’s kind of their choice. Obviously, any comments that suggest violence against people who make/play/are represented in that kind of game needs to get shut down immediately, but you’re allowed to not like LGBTQ+ representation. It’s not illegal to clutch your pearls at the sight of non-heteronormative sexuality. It’s just reprehensible.

  • Capitalism is built on the notion that wealth is virtue.

If you are rich, you made good decisions and the invisible hand has guided money to your pockets. You’ve created things that contribute to the comfort/progress of society as a whole, and your reward for it is to be held above others.

If you are poor, you have not been actively contributing to society. You have instead been a drain, and the invisible hand is punishing you got this. Your inability to find meaningful ways to contribute is a vice, which should be looked down on. Ultimately, if you cannot afford to live, that is survival of the fittest, and the world is better off without you.

If you believe any of the above to be true, you are delusional scum of the earth, and you are the reason everything sucks. You’d also feel right at home with the right-wing chuds currently undoing decades of progress.
