  • Good news: caught it early!

    Best tips going forward: lifestyle changes. Manage obesity, control blood sugar, control hypertension; keep diet low in fats and high in fiber, low glycemic index foods, and protein. Plant based protein (🫘🫘🫘) is gold standard imo. Exercise 5-6 times a week.

    Major tip: keep up with your regular PCP visits to monitor progress! You’ll want to take your medications as prescribed; none of that “I only take the blood pressure pill when I feel I need it” nonsense!

    Take some OTC vitamin E supplements, avoid alcohol, and make sure you’re up to date on your vaccinations.
