Austin, always had a soft spot for them & my grandmother learnt to drive in one.

I dont even know what that means lol
Its about £14, honestly not bad compared to most of the world.

Literally “dont talk about this in somewhere we deem to be le bad instances”

Britain also has a significant issue of under employment, getting a full time contract in many entry level roles these days is borderline impossible.
The way the statistics are presented as well mean that the actual situation is likely even worse, the unemployment rate doesn’t actually include those not trying to look for work (which is a recorded issue in the UK among younger generations).

Letting perfect be the enemy of good ngl
Sounds like a issue with American cook books then ngl, you can also get defined standardised cul &tbsp scoops.

No ethical consumption under capitalism aside.
Morality can be viewed through multiple lenses, I would argue that in terms of generally trying to support FOSS & reducing e waste theybare acting far mote morally than anything akin to HP & DELL.
Surely using oz & lbs on a scale solves this?

Meh, still better than virtually all other computer OEMs by net political harm done. I’ll take one nutcase over companies sucking off a entire borderline fascist government.
Its basically entirely this, its not for no reason much of the world wound up using something akin to it. Honestly for small scale stuff such as cooking I do genuinely quite like using it but especially in the digital age its simply become obsolete I can’t imagine having to code something which requires employing imperial measurements.
Tbf as someone who grew up with the imperial system due to being raised by a British boomer its fairly easy if you’re familiar with it, I still often cook in imperial due to a load of old cook books I have.
Having said that anyone who wants the imperial system in the modern day is a absolute idiot, metric is objectively superior.

Most of the animals we eat would’ve never existed had they not been reared for the meat industry, however I do think that factory farming is barbaric and thusly while I do eat meat I do try my best to get it from free range sources.
We will have a fundamentally different view on how animals are to be treated, we should try and treat them with kindness and give them as happy life as possible but I see nothing morally wrong with eating them so long as they are humanely killed.
Having said that we do eat far too much meat in society and generally I eat vegetarian meals for 5-6 days of the week with a very high quality free range something or other on the (mainly a weekend) day.
I do think that you coming into this comics comment section was legitimately looking to get upset and you’re kinda ignoring the point of the comic but alas. Ultimately we’d have to agree to disagree as I doubt we’ll ever see eye to eye on the matter of meat consumption.
Yarg best cheese or a blue west country Brie.
