If they have to sell it at this price I doubt they have many in stock to begin with.

After switching between distros for 8+ years and settling on Fedora KDE, I don’t think I’ve ever had SELinux get in my way for anything.

Oof I can’t recommend a new one to anyone at that price. Fortunately there’s still a lot of used ones around where I live, but that’s a big old yikes.

Runs fine on my Fedora desktop and steam deck.

I just won’t buy their games then? I’m not going to move over just for a few games.

I got it for the expansions and such. The early access is a bonus though.

It really depends on the price if it’s worth it. If they can get this thing down to like $200, it could be a really budget card.

What’d they think would happen lol

There’s definitely an online focus, but you can play it offline.

Despite how shitty EA is, it still has a lot of IPs I like and would rather not see die.

Just to clarify, it is a 16gb min ram requirement, not 32gb, at least according to the steam page

I did the same thing with my RB button on my LCD model. I went the official repair route, which cost $130. If you can solder you can probably just replace it yourself, I just didn’t feel confident enough to do it.

Is there any real advantage over using H.264 vs something like AV1 that’s open source?

Wonder what Zelda remake it will be. All of main console ones have been remade in some form to my knowledge. Maybe a handheld game?

Nah there’s definitely bangers that came out after BOTW.
They’re definitely greedy with these upgrade prices though.

I can only think of the South Park cock magic episode.

You must be fun at parties.

I wouldn’t buy it to replace my phone. I want to keep that and my gaming devices separate.
I would buy it a dedicated handheld in a similar form factor to a phone + some controls. I’ve actually been looking at the AYN Thor for this exact use case. It would have to be the right price too.

Steam Deck can run Forza 5 okay enough, just don’t expect it to look amazing, especially while docked. It won’t be at the Xbox in terms of visuals and performance.
Based on how Motorsport ran on PC, I wouldn’t count on it being a smooth experience for FH6 until we are proven otherwise.
Also you can stream you main PC to a steam deck, although you’re going to want a wired connection if possible, especially if doing so while docked.
