Dude , snap out of it; The AGI promises are delusional; The buffed autocomplete is not self conscious and it will never be. And the cap to be “ahead of the AI race” will be power infrastructure and manufacturing for robotics in which China has already won. I am not American I don’t want the American nazis state to win shit; i think that cesspool of racist pedophile idiots needs to be dismantled.
And the only thing i am looking forward to is the promise of cheap Chinese GPU’s, cheap memory and the idea that maybe through that i can continue to buy my own hardware; instead of the future the degenerate american billionaires want are where they are forcing everyone to rent compute for anything and be their little muzzled paypigs. (which is the real goal for this “AI” bubble.)
Fuck Nvidia fuck all american companies and fuck the corrupt techbros that are really running the show there,

If AI was really inevitable the large american conglomerates would not be pushing it so hard on the most common consumers. This shit is not making the money they were expecting. The behavior of the conglomerates is not that of finding a game changing tool; but of using their marketing push to establish their monopolies. I Don’t give a shit About your degree, you can use AI for whatever you want. If you have legitimate uses for it you don’t need to push it to everyone.
This technology is not a matter of national security for anyone. The americans will use AI as an excuse to kill innocents the same way they always found excuses for their nazi shit. And i don’t care about AI cold war coded races; I don’t want data centers or american monopolies attempting to take over the infrastructure of work and life where i live, just like i don’t want american politicians lobbying for who should the people in my country vote for.
Data centers need to be stopped from being constructed. AI businesses need to be scaled back. And if this is really a tool; then it should be treated as a humble tool instead of the grand narratives techbros keep pushing about it. You don’t need trillion dollar infrastructure to use machine learning in niche science applications.
