  • I would suggest Btrfs for regular use. ZFS is better for server use and redundancy in systems with critical data you don’t want to lose. It also uses all your ram as cache and will give it back to you if you need it, but still has a harder performance hit on things you run. Be overkill for just wanting to save a little space. A lot of new gaming distros like Bazzite suggest using Btrfs on all secondary drives.

  • This is me tbh. I don’t value video games as part of my life to the extent that I will pay 70 dollars (or really almost any dollars) for 99% of them. I already don’t do that for games that have/had Denuvo that took years to crack. I just forgot about them and did something else. I’d probably just read more books if I couldn’t pirate games because I’m not spending that much of my income on them.

It’s also the same argument that record companies tried to use for the last few decades when a majority of the piracy stats were from countries you couldn’t even buy their albums or it was prohibitively expensive to do so. Avatar (the blue one) was the most pirated movie of all time at the same time as it was the highest grossing movie of all time. One download = one lost sale has never been true.

  • The said in their reply that they’ve been trying to maximize their Claude sub within the last 1.5 months, but they’ve been using it for a while. Which I know people are going to split hairs about “vibe-coded” vs. “ai-assisted”, but they admit that their pace has been unrealistic due to AI contributions. They did say they cancelled their subscription and are going to try to correct course. Up to you if you believe them. Booklore trajectory has never felt good to me when major bugs go multiple versions without being fixed, so I’ll still stay away.
