IME specialty communities like that usually require an unusually active userbase or dedicated content creator to last, suggesting that with the current Fediverse, one generally has to lower their expectations a little and find the best, active fit.

Just as an amateur naturist, based on what I’ve read, I’m thinking it would probably be useful for you to be proactive here and make friends with these intelligent animals, not just get along with them.

So I’d recommend doing a little research and following up, which I’m thinking might involve leaving them out some kind of preferred food on a regular basis, that kind of thing.

I remember stopping through there, once. I recall instantly pissing off one of the locals for pronouncing the name correctly.

It will take decades to recover from this as things stand.

My pet black theory is that the billionaires behind all this are doing their best to speed up collapse, partly because they’re eager to move to the underground bunkers their people have been working on the past decade or two.

Fret not. As stated in the OP, a lot of my posts are published at a ‘compromise time’ so as to hit both the Americas and Europe, and this would be a way to expand other posts in to more time possibilities.

The other thing I’ve come to observe based on comments and votes is that sadly, it looks like the majority of the FV audience doesn’t bother to scroll back much past… maybe 6-8hrs or so. Sure, there’ll be a ‘small stragglers crowd’ willing to read back a couple days, but it seems much smaller. 😕
