Just adding this to the hatred for McD… Their WiFi requires you to install and trust a McDonalds WiFi cert. Man in the middle https decoding. Anyone who has done this has given McD their creds to various sites.

I refuse to use the kiosks… Hate those thing

Best thing to do here is buy a Network interface card with 2 ports that support a floating IP address for HA. each interface can plug into a separate lan switch for HA.
Last time I did this, broadcomm was a good choice.
I would not run any core services on WiFi only.
How many users ? How large a network? Could you offload dhcp/DNS to other devices to improve resiliency?

I’m at a loss as to how this would work consistently. If 2 interfaces share an IP without bonding, then only 1 would answer the ARP request from anothet host trying to establish a connection. If your system allows same static on 2 devices on same land, then other hosts talk to whoever establishes a session or answers the ARP request.
I’m curious why you would want this at all?

Its already at a point where I can’t take a long exposure without a dozen spacex satellites and other junk zooming through my frame. Light pollution is already at a tipping point where no stars are visible in or around large cities.
Support your local amateur astronomer club. Support the dark skies association.
Employees like this are kept under the minimum hours to qualify for benefits on purpose.

Next version of this should be called ‘Son of Anton’

How much money did it cost the taxpayers to rebrand it with Trumps name and now to rebrand it, once again, with the original name?
Think about that waste

I’ve been to so many doctors that say if I don’t opt in then they won’t see me.
I’ve walked out a lot
Remember 10 years back when block chain was all the rage. Companies raced to develop using it. CEO s answer to the board, and if the board members are inundated with marketing crap about the next big tech thing, they will wonder why the CEO is not testing and or implementing.
Board members get caught up in media hype and will treat a CEO who seems to ignore it as questionable.
So board thinks AI is the shit. They ask CEO what are we doing with the new AI tech. If CEO answers that its worthless, but other large companies are testing it and media won’t shut up about it, then board questions CEOs judgement.

I bet people down voting me are the sales reps that sell/lease thousands of iPads and Chromebooks to districts along with software licenses and contracts to supple the personnel to support that hardware.

Can’t have a free bike lane when the city can charge 5.00 per hour for 40 spaces.

There should be 1 class for computer and tech. The rest of school can be done with pencil, paper, and a ruler.
Districts should stop playing the marketing game and spend money repairing buildings, buying up to date textbooks, and fucking paying teachers more.

“Moltar!?!?!?!?!?. Get off the internet!”

If I sue the IRS for 10 Billion, do I get to not pay taxes also?

“…they called it insider trading.”
File this one under ‘no shit, sherlock’.

Private Internet Access works. But someone recently pointed out to me that they are owned by some not so great companies. Your choice.
Have you looked at just having a dhcp hot standby.

It offers better redundancy than just 1 host. Super easy to setup too.
