The government isn’t the only threat e2ee protects against. When a non-e2ee service is hacked, the data is free for the taking, if the service is e2ee the data is only available from that moment forward. I’m not going to speak for which provider you should use, but you should reconsider needing e2ee.

Internet Explorer is still used by the Windows OS quite frequently. So depending on your definition of “supported” it still kind of is. Plus the internet hasn’t changed all that much, so most websites will work with any web browser regardless of age.

On iOS and most androids, your Mac address is only scrambled per network. So when you connect to the same network again, your device will use the same Mac address. As for the AI image… Yeah, you should probably avoid those here. Some communities are more welcoming than others, but generally AI is quite disliked in the privacy community. It also makes you look very bot-like when you use one as your first ever post.

I’d argue chromium based browsers are significantly better than gecko simply for security. Obviously Chrome is bad, but Vanadium and other such browsers are significantly better than any firefox remixes.

After trying to find some examples, I’ve determined that my previous statement is incorrect. It seems the site has expanded by a considerable amount, and the complaints I had (e.g. Tor was ranked something like C while Google was ranked B) no longer apply.

Regardless, I think having someone else summarize a legally binding contract is still a horrible idea in so many ways.

You can use a prepaid visa to buy account credits, or proton gift cards. They don’t support monero, which is really annoying, but it’s not the biggest hassle to convert from monero to bitcoin for a purchase.
