Oh yeah absolutely. That’s what this HA update sounds like it’s solving, which is very exciting! Going to need to pick up some ESP32s with IR myself now. The SofaBaton is a higher quality product that matches the Harmony which is why I brought it up

If you’re looking for Harmony level usage and have a pretty penny to spend, look at SofaBaton. Programmable universal remote with hub, and there are home assistant integrations for local control.

Oh I more than understood your question, as much as there was one. I’m taking the piss out of you because your question is more of a rant than anything else.
Move somewhere else if you don’t like it. You live in an industrial area. As do I, where the trains stop traffic multiple times per day since we have lumber yards here. And we all deal with it because we chose to live here.
The fuel costs of having the train do what it does, even though it’s an inconvenience for you, will certainly be substantially less than them catering to you. That’s by my estimation though. If you have data showing otherwise, let’s take a look at it.

That’s a separate issue. You asked a question, and an answer was given.
I bet that your city is used to having trains, seeing as they’re pretty major infrastructure, and had the good sense to have multiple police and fire stations on each side, thus not negatively impacting their response times.
Have you called the station managers or whatever to file an official complaint? If not, you’re wasting your time complaining here.

How do trains save fuel
By reducing the number of freight trucks on the road

Second gyroid infill. Doesn’t take much longer, and doesn’t scrape against itself while printing.
And also general tuning with a calibration cube. Verify temps and extrusion values, the usual.
Yours is so much nicer than mine!! I got this one made for our little studio apartment, but we never really used it so I didn’t bother polishing it up. The temp on the fridge is the apartment temp, and the lights are visible buttons, but I love your invisible buttons and will follow how you did it if I end up doing it again!

Embeds from Immich work really well!

I’ve been in this situation for a few years now (Working from home, wanting to share screens between devices).
KVMs and HDMI Switches are what to look for, as others have said. Scenes aren’t something you’re going to get cheaply, but you’ve still got options. For reference, I currently have three 27in 1440p monitors.
The first one I bought was a cheap 2 HMDI IN->2 HDMI OUT that worked pretty well. It’s straight 1-to-1 matching, you can’t mix and match what goes where without actually moving the cables, but it was great for having my main and right monitor be easily switched between my Desktop and Work computers. My left monitor is just for my desktop so I can multitask.
It died after a couple years and I upgraded my main monitor to my first 1440p which it couldn’t handle anyways. I wanted to use my main with Display Port so I got a 1 HDMI IN->2 HDMI OUT for just my right monitor. Center monitor has multiple inputs so I just use the screen’s buttons to switch.
My current monitor setup I literally setup this week. Each has multiple HDMI and DP inputs and it takes just a few seconds to switch each one with its built in switcher, and I honestly think this is the way to go.
After a few years of doing it, I say if you are able to, prioritize nice monitors with multiple inputs and use their built in systems for switching. A few more button presses, but that’s just a few seconds of time.

We owed money the last couple years. We definitely didn’t opt out of withholding, and we don’t make any income from interest. It’s as easy as just not having your paperwork done correctly. Or even when it is, as it was in our case, the default withholding is an estimate which is why most end up overpaying (hence the refunds). I ended up putting an additional $50/check for taxes so we’d at least be getting close to owing nothing. This is the first year in quite a few that we actually got some money back.

Doesn’t sound like a mental health issue. It sounds more like a “I got stoned at 1am and got lost on a Wikipedia page about this disease and now I’m curious what could be possible” type thing. Hypotheticals can be fun!

No? I didn’t have a bad childhood, and I’m sure there’s lots of memories that were made, but they’re long gone. We grow, learn, and evolve. Memories mold us into who we are now, and while it’s good to have important memories documented for recollection (such as keeping a journal), the majority of life is mundane or repeating tasks so those memories are ‘overwritten’ (so to speak) with more recent and relevant memories.
It’s generally strong emotional moments that we remember best. Lots of people in the comments talking about remembering their trauma. I vividly remember my spankings, and my brother dragging my arm across a car window edge, and other bad things.
But I also remember the good times. Going on vacations, spending time with extended family, hobbies I enjoyed as a kid.
Comparing the amount of memories I have from being a kid to now though, my childhood memories are just a distant thought at this point.

Commenting more so I can easily find this thread again, since I’d be curious as well.
For personal photos that I share I use Immich, and Immich-Proxy for sharing the photos (so I’m don’t want to directly share the actual URL of my Immich server). Works well for that, but doesn’t anywhere meet the drag and drop simplicity of Imgur.

I got the Keychron K10 a couple years ago and it’s been rock solid the whole time, both wired and wireless. Just checked the price, around $70. No macro keys on it, I prefer those on my mouse

Ding ding ding!
My high school was in the nicer part of town, literally separated by a river from the rest of the city. Back then for second languages our school had Spanish, French, ASL, German, and even Latin! Our school had science teachers that won statewide awards, our football team was very competitive, the marching band (and music program in general) was phenomenal.
This was just a public school, and I’ve more than come to terms that the experience I had is nowhere near the norm compared to the rest of the country.

Much different, IME. Digital rides generally sit in a single room instead of a whole actual ride, but the chairs/carts more around, drop you, etc. If it’s something like a nature exploration (flying around the world) they’ll often increase the experience with tactile things like spray (when above an ocean) and wind. They’re pretty cool

FLIRC is your friend! It’s a USB IR receiver that you can train with literally any IR remote you have. Once you set it up (and it does take a little elbow grease to train it), it just works.

I don’t recall having any special rules. We’d just hit the ball to another square and that was it.
The again, my memory is shit with specifics.
The installed files are not an installer. What you’re referencing is moving the preexisting program files of a game
