They help me know what I am in for before I start the movie. If the critic score is high and viewer score is low, I know this a movie I need to pay attention to enjoy. If critic low and view high, I can mindlessly enjoy this. If critic high and user high I am going to need to watch this more than once. If critic low and viewer low, I am going to need to mystery science theater this shit.
I have seen so many shit show implementations and good money being thrown at bad. And so often all they needed was a simple script to calculate commissions or send a document to next person in the approval chain.
I hate that he is actually right about this. SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce are general one size fits none solutions. Your going to spend a fuck ton of menu integrating these platforms into your work flow. Then spend more money maintaining the platform and on licenses. A janky home grown solution is better in a lot of cases

38% is still a lot of people that’s more than 1/3.

This explains why it’s not higher. I was very confused when it was only a third.

In 2018 we didn’t know what monster it would become
My boss has become the person in blue. Can’t get any work done now because follow up questions are to hard for him now.
Is it slop if you can’t distinguish it from a real photo? At that point I think it’s just AI.
Bog. Although mummies bursting out of a child’s chest has been add to the list horrors to use on my players

I now just throw random shit at my players and see what the engage with. Last week they decided the frog must be up to something so the frog lead them to a bog full of bog mummies. Anyways I almost TPKed the party and now they are hell bent on killing all the frogs in the swamp.

Your better off getting 10 people and starting a commune

I’m talking about people that are accountants that now thing they can create software. Or engineers who think they can now write legal briefs for court.

I don’t have a problem with LLMs as much as the way people use them. My boss has offloaded all of his thinking to LLMs to the point he can’t fix a sentence in a slide deck without using an LLM.
It’s the people that try to use LLMs for things outside their domain of expertise that really cause the problems.

There is an assumption these people are making that I am not sure they are aware they are making. They are assuming the cost of running YouTube is increasing so the cost of YouTube premium needs to increase. Every public company is driven by maximizing share holder value, the goal is to extract as much money as possible from the user.

I am not going to shit on the man. His views and opinions about free software are worth knowing and understanding. I just would invite home to a dinner party or ask his opinion on any other topics.

I agree with most of Stallman’s views on proprietary code. However, the one time I met him in person I found him to be off putting. I am not going to get into details because this is the internet and I know how people are.

I have met Stallman, I don’t like Stallman, Stallman is right about most thing related software licensing.

Yet I only need an integer when using the imperial system, and I don’t have to repeat 3 into infinity.
