My gay friends, whenever I would get sassy with them, would tell me, “Sorry sis, I don’t speak Biatchanese”. Always had us hollering.
Do a little dance, he said.
Get down tonight, he said.
What he didn’t say, was an electron has both mass and spin yet has no definite location.

Mind throwing out a source? Having some trouble searching for other places that have experienced this kinda thing, with how fucked search has gotten. All I can find are articles about company towns, which don’t feel like what you’re referring to.

That’s fucking WILD

Apparently the webpage can be viewed once before it goes behind a paywall. Sorry guys.

I don’t know, but it sets a dangerous precedent.

Every state has a website like this one: https://sos.oregon.gov/business/Pages/find.aspx
And for the low low price of free, you will know their business address, their mailing address, and the personal address of the most important people in any company you look up.
I do not support doxxing of residents and civilians, but lets be real here. Wealthy corps and wealthy people are in charge. People.

Not only that… but Lake Tahoe is being abandoned by their power company to power data centers because its more profitable.

Pretty sure its to churn out research vessels for science though.
I agree with you definitions and reasoning, I disagree that prudence and decorum don’t serve in some circles.
Prudence and decorum just change to fit the context of the circle. For those who have little to lose but their own life, prudence may take the form of kindness and charity. Decorum is just upholding a tradition within a circle, and traditions form at every level of society to keep what works moving forward.
I would argue that prudence and decorum are good tools to have no matter what circle you move in, you just have to adapt the tools for the job :/
Facebook also allows this to an extent. Or at least it did 5 years ago when I last used facebook. You did have to manually choose who could see the post everytime though. Not nearly as convenient.
That got a snort out of me, and a guffaw from the fiance.
I’ve been trying to workshop a flirty reply for longer than I’d like to admit.
Looks like I also need to go to the doctor. The Love Doctor.
PSA: If its fishy, should probably see a doc just in case.
I’m honestly impressed at the effort you put into this comment. It’ll be a while before I read through all these links, so I’m just gonna save this comment and come back to it occasionally.

And KAOS, the dairy man!
This. There is nothing more immersive in a story set in the past than old-timey measurements. I want my potions in drams, I want my house measured in paces, I want to know how many leagues the city is across. I want cubits and spans for construction and stones, pounds, and smelt for weights.
It makes the world more real, less sterile to have these human-centric measures.
Traditionally? An inch is three barley corns long.
Yes… Thank you British Empire, French Empire, and Spanish Empire for your contributions to the system.
-British: Mile, Foot, Inch, Yard
-Spanish: Dollar, from the Spanish Pieces of 8
-French: You know what you did
Something something China owns Reddit, something something Trump pissed of China, something something oblique humor here.
Am I doing it right?
[This is a meta-commentary on why I left reddit, thank you for participating]
My sudden dyslexia: PSA, don’t fuck duck feed.
