thank you! I like that you suggested irl activities like https://upperstory.com/en/turingtumble/
The point about games is a good one. Free games apps are terrible for collecting location data. Do you (or anyone here) know of a place/collection of open source games? They don’t have to be free (£$ money free) but they would have to be open source to know they’re not data harvesters.

I’m not sure - you’d have to ask the organisers 😀

It’s a FREE event!
We (Rebel Tech Alliance) will be there too! https://www.rebeltechalliance.org/
We’ll going through alternatives that people can switch to.

Thank you! Any ideas you have about how we can get the word out are very welcome…

I would assume that Anthropic’s stance is mostly performative. But while people are in boycotting mood they could solve the surveillance problem by quitting ALL big tech products. Here’s our site that lists all the ethical, non-spyware alternatives:

lol I thought this was a guerrilla IT warfare post where you snuck in and did it, but you actually did it with permission… 😂
Fair. Or just fill it in with full answers - even better!
Either way we need to let them know that there is opposition to a ban. The questions are worded to herd you towards saying yes to age verification for all 🤬
