Just got back from our camp where I’m doing renovations. It’s only accessible by boat so all supplies have to be loaded in the trailer, brought to the boat, loaded in the boat, brought to the camp, then unloaded onto the dock. Makes for slow going, but the peace and beauty out there make up for it. Today, I’m going to church, picking up groceries for the week, then heading back to camp.

Like every stage in life, it has its pros and cons.

It’s the internet. What do you think?
We play speed Uno. If you have the identical card as the card that’s played, you can lay it down if you get it to the pile before the person whose turn it is lays down theirs. Play then continues from you.

In the U.S., the letter Z is pronounced zee. The rest of the English-speaking world pronounces it zed. Thus the difference.

Many companies like websites, tv, radio, etc. depend on the revenues from advertisers to pay their workers and expenses. If they didn’t have that, everything would likely turn to susbscription or a regular pleading for money so they could continue.

Yes. I have a strong opinion on the subject and have shared it extensively among my close friends.

Canada. You don’t pay for a broken arm or a checkup. You only pay for things like physiotherapy or massage. Dentisit is covered if you’re old, young, or not making much money. Pharmacy is covered (with a small fee) if you’re old. The emergency room works on a triage system so, if you’re not seriously sick, you’ll probably wait a long time. There are long wait times for specialists in some areas. I can’t speak for everyone, but the care my extended family and I have received has been excellent.

Aren’t they pronounced the same?

Bullwinkle and Rocky
It’s too bad we can’t get animals (including ourselves) to hold it all day then dispense it into a fuel tank for home use.

Get perspective. We are living in one of the best times in the history of the human race. Tell me a time before 1950 going back 300 000 years that you’d rather live in.

Charles Schultz once said, “There are three things that people like to just sit and watch: softly falling snow, an open fire, and a Zamboni driving around a rink.”
This feels like an ad.
Hilarious. And perhaps a little too accurate for comfort.
My problem is with the word soup. Scientists don’t call today’s ocean a soup and it has many times more compounds, materials, and living matter.
And unique to each individual. Perhaps we can use it as a security identifier along with fingerprints.
