Can you help me out and name the specific car, that one can actually buy, that charges in 5 min? I’m not seeing it.

Is this a car you can actually buy? Having troubles finding such information, which makes me doubt the feasibility given nobody else has batteries that charge in anywhere near 5min.

Faster charging is absolutely good, but the speed of the charger isn’t the limiting factor here, it is the batteries. Lithium Ion batteries simply DO NOT CHARGE in 5 min.

The subtitle of the article:
Modelling with artificial-intelligence tools has filled gaps in migration data, revealing detailed global population movements from 1990 to 2023.
Nature…it isn’t data if you just made it the fuck up.
O, O, OHH burn it.
In this house we code one line per line.

Yes, I think that is a major part of it.
Your religion telling you you are a bad person causes some deep turmoil. And keeping the feelings (and the person causing those feelings) away likely offers him some temporary reprieve.
You need to talk to him. Possibly many times over a long period.

Disclaimer: All I have is what you told me. So this isn’t very authorative: He is gay (or bi), having troubles processing it, he cares for you as a person, and finds you attractive.
You need to talk to him, help him process his feelings, and possibly wait out how long it will take for him to do so (This might be a long time). He is attempting to do nice things for you, do a nice thing for him and be his friend and maybe take some shit from him while you help him sort his feelings.
Yes, you will need Veracrypt available on the computer in order to access the drive. However, you don’t need Veracrypt installed. There is a portable version available for both Linux and Windows.
If you have Veracrypt available on all machines in question, you can keep it simple and have the whole drive encrypted.
However, you can also bring the portable versions with you on the same drive: Make a normal (unencrypted) partition the size of the whole drive. (ex-FAT if you want it to work on both Linux and Windows) Then have the portable verion(s) of the program on it as well as a Veracrypt encrypted container file. The encrypted container will be a big, unreadable file on the drive that will require your password to unlock and use. Then store the rest of everything inside the encrypted container.

“Sentencing decisions are made by independent judges in line with sentencing guidelines,” said a spokesperson. “We are clear that punishments must fit the severity of the crime, and custody should always be considered for serious offences. This government is determined to do all we can to make sure victims have confidence they will get justice.”
rape
£26 fines
I see England has a very distorted view of how severe rape is. Clearly the teenagers ‘didn’t know what they were doing’ and ‘should be given another chance’.
Rape in England has been a major pain point for awhile now. The politicians setting the laws there seem to just not give a fuck.

Does your PC have DDR5? Do you get a black screen and spinning fans when you power it on? If so, let it sit powered on the black screen for literally 30+ min. It may be memory training and they, for some absurd reason, give zero indication they are doing so.

American from the North East
they always say they aren’t white
In many lefty circles, White people are seen as lesser/placed lower. (And even formalized at many companies for hiring purposes.) So, instead many will say they are 3% Indian, referencing a blood test that (very likely) said so. Now they are a minority and not White.

Apparently I’m the Luddite here for sticking with the light switch on the wall that has always just worked. ;p

That isn’t surprising. ETFs are the go-to way to easily diversify. They can be market-wide or catered very specifically.

If one suspects there is a better answer to ‘the question behind the question’:
answer the actual question that was asked, then
ask the question behind the question and answer that too.
Infuriating when people only do the latter. Particularly when I come by a question that is my EXACT problem, and none of the answers even attempt to answer the question that was asked.

Google seems hell-bent on AI; DuckDuckGo lets you easily disable AI search. Try it out.

The Taxi Worker’s Alliance was formed in 1998. Taxi driver unions have been a thing for a long, long time
‘Ride share’ is a legal gimmick, not something substantive.

‘point of no return’
Prices return once supply is returned.
The Guardian is being very dramatic here.

Wealthy folks (in general) are heavily involved in property and consequently pay considerable property taxes. This is something everyone is quite equal on.
It is taxed as the post describes due to being a limited resource, unlike financial instruments, which are not a limited resource.
The version of this car you can actually buy has a 100kWh battery and a peak charge rate of 270kW, which gives it a 10%-70% of 15min. And that is only if we go with the hilariously unrealistic assumption it stays at peak charge rate the whole time.
This is what I’m talking about. The car they are boasting about is not something you can actually buy. Donut Labs also has batteries with amazing and mystical properties that turn out to be normal ass batteries when you actually get ahold of them.
