I just got laid off

When I was in Singapore the first PE class of every year is to record our height and weight. And also as a fat kid I would get enrolled into “fat camp” where we have to come to school early for a run. It was great.

I do something similar too! In my dnd game I treat draconic as this ancient uber conservative language and lizard folks speak reptilic, a descendant of draconic. One of my PC knows draconic so I always describe reptilic to sound simplified and with weird accent to him. The party recently came across some troglodytes and I read that the language is related to draconic so when I played the troglodytes speaking I basically went caveman-speak for the PC that knows draconic haha.

I’m going to guess that at the time loud speakers started appearing everywhere and she/the author is sick of it

I feel like King fits more. OPM is depressed Superman, but King is literally taking all the credit and get out of deadly situations alive by being at the right place at the right time

Probably a bit basic but Charizard and Umbreon. I like ditto and wooper too! Though my favourite starter is either totodile or cyndaquil depending on the day lol.

The hobbies I have are working on my comic, playing some video games, or planning for my next dnd session. I find it hard to really sink in to something for awhile now, probably because I’ve only got about an hour of unstructured time on the weekdays. Weekends can swing wildly but I just find myself unable to really sit and enjoy doing it. I kinda just do one of the three in piecemeal whenever I find the time for it now.

Recently I’ve hurt my foot so I took a week off. The past couple days is when I’ve recovered enough that I don’t feel the need to be on bed rest for the whole day. Yesterday was the first time I’ve played a video game for over an hour in one sitting in what felt like ages.

A few weeks after I had a huge argument with my mom, The Beths released a song called Mother Pray for Me. I listened at work and almost cried then. A few months later my brother had a spare ticket to their concert and they played it at the show and I lost it.

It’s pretty wild to look at the moon this morning and to think that people just whipped around it recently. Hopefully soon when I look at the moon I can say that there are people on it!

I just say hello/hey/etc. Not lying, not breaking the social expectations. Just in and out of the convo asap

What’s missing in “rich countries” I think is the village pet. Loads of places have dogs and cats just roam around and people feed them leftovers and such. People care about them as much as any one would a pet, but no one out right owns the animal.

I have a comic that I work on when I have the time and energy for. If not some random doodles or drawing maps and sometime NPCs amongst my prep for my dnd game. Some times I play videogames too but I find it hard to really sink into it the way I did when I was a kid.
