I’d say the police being hired on a local level is not necessarily better or worse than on state or federal level. It might mean having racist town cops and non-racist state troopers or vice versa.

What is definetly fucked up is the lack of training. I mean even in LA where there’s quite the intense training I personally find it lacking. Cops here study and graduate with at least a bachelors degree.

I mean no disrespect to the actress that played Tris Merigold she did well - well, at least better that the one for Yennefer or some of the other sorceresses.
