Gotcha. Nothing historical about that specific symbol. Never meant as a symbol of fortunate or goodness. Just some Heck dude who thought an angular S was cool

One day I wish we as a collective humanity can reclaim these symbols. Growing up in a Chinese household. I’ve know the manji as symbol associated with the Buddha, not as a symbol of hate and oppression.

I think they have universal healthcare out there. That we pay for.
Much appreciated! Accuracy is important
I remember watching a video somewhere that touched upon this. IIRC, whenever a Chinese immigrant came to a city in the United States with a large Chinese population, such as San Francisco, they would seek out people from their hometown and would often be directed to benevolent societies. These societies help provide means for the immigrant to start looking after themselves, by offering different professions folks can jump into. Often times that would include providing recipes for dishes they could fix up at restaurants.
I think the video was a documentary about General Tso’s chicken.

Everything everywhere all at once is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. Pays a bunch of homages to action films and tropes. One of the few times in my life where I ugly cried and laughed at the same time.
There used to be a guy on the corner who would hold a sign up about Falun Gong and repeat “Happy, happy, happy.”

Updooting for US Mobile. I pay 25 a month for 70 gbs of internet on my phone. I think I’ve been able to use up all 70 gb once by streaming 4k movies for two weeks straight. You can also use more than one network with US Mobile for an extra 10. i bounce between Verizon’s network and T-Mobile’s network all the time!

I’ve always understood Marx as a historian who used the perspective of resources as the lens to view history. I don’t think he was going out of his way to figure out how to get the working class to rise up.
I’ve been always a bit partial towards Herbert Marcuse, someone who I regard as part of the Marxist thought. I think his book One-Dimensional Man was a interesting read as an explanation to our modern technologically advanced society.

Unfortunately, I don’t think so. Everything I’ve read online points to an issue with a PSN overlay if you’re using steam. Sorry Atti!

Playing multiplayer online is pretty cool. You get a version of the Ghost but not as complete in stances and such. Instead, you can become specialized in a particular class. Super fun if you have a few friends to run around on a map with.
Someone made ice cream out of the flowers and bark.
That is very true. I probably was not in right headspace to be recommending anything.
Not a proper recc
It kinda fits if you turn your head sideways and squint real hard. What OP is asked for is definitely not the main plotline.
Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

I half thought this was archive.org they were blacklisting. Two whole different sites.

That’s really interesting! Looks like I’ll need to look into this more.

Apparently it’ll kill off the bacteria that causes odors. Martha Stewart uses it.
Watching this clip back on college is what solidified my love for philosophy.
