Kagi and Startpage are my go-to search engines these days.
I have a paid Kagi account and feel it is very much worth the investment.

I live in Tennessee and say this almost daily.

This. Charles really made that one his own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfaOf70M4xs

Elton John’s cover of the Beatles “Lucy In The Sky” took that song beyond the stratosphere. Amazing.

In-cat-pacitated.

Elder Scrolls Online, for me.

THE CARNAGE!!

Can anybody recommend some sound resources for learning French that don’t require a lot of money?

As an American, I totally get where you’re coming from. It’s frustrating for me, because the way I see it, most Americans are expecting things to just “go back to normal” when this administration finally does itself in. There’s no going back. We need to forge a new identity as a country, and we may be wandering in the wilderness until we do.

“Well, that’s that, I suppose.”

I just moved to CachyOS when I learned about Artix. The distro hopping never truly ends, does it? LOL.

Welcome aboard!

Just deleted it from my phone. Thanks for the reminder.

Linux Distros (so far) Refusing Age Verification
EDIT
I recommend going to Ageless Linux’s site and reading up on their take on the whole issue. They clearly illustrate how poorly thought out the California law is.

ESPECIALLY at rush hour!

I live in Tennessee and hate this fucking state.
I say lets have public lists of state reps that have a history of solicitation, sexual assaults, pedophilia, DUIs…every little deet thay want kept private, we should have as well. I mean…since this bill is supposedly about protecting kids, parents should be informed as to which reps to keep their kids away from.

I’m a pretty happy Vivaldi user. They have a No AI policy, it is infinitely customizable (you can put tabs any fucking where), has native ad and tracking blockers, you can use extensions, has a notes function w/markdown capability (which I find handy for having quick copypasta ready to go), a built-in mail client and RSS reader, synchs across devices…
You know…stuff.
I work swing/2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. My days off are always Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s not so bad, as I can get stuff done on my days off (doctor’s appointments, banking/government office-related errands, etc.). If I’m up earlier than my 10:00 am alarm, then I try to be productive around the flat.
