Adhd is, for many of us, a disability. That means we aren’t able to do things the same way that people without disabilities can. You may as well say that deaf or blind people shouldn’t enjoy movies either, because they are unable to enjoy the cinematography or audio like “you’re supposed to”

I’ve been thinking that we need more protected bike lanes, because people drive so aggressively and recklessly where I just moved to. I’ve only lived here two weeks and already have witnessed a few close calls between motorists and cyclists, which is horrifying tbh

Well, to be fair they keep making cuts to the VA and then it’s had bad pr for as long as I can remember

In seriousness, nothing radicalized me more than when I finally got into the VA system and suddenly my medical and mental care needs were being taken care of with no cost to me. It makes me so angry that people have to be seriously injured in the military just to have full and free access to care

In four years of owning my home I went an additional 50k in debt over things that were hidden and not revealed during inspection or random unlucky things like a pipe bursting in the same basement room twice in six months (bad fitting replaced with an apparently counterfeit fitting). I’m just about to close on the sale and have no idea what my next steps are because wow, that was a terrible financial experience.

I’m not even breaking even on the sale even though the house is now in perfect condition, because it’s a very small town and people noticed how many repairs were going on in those few years :(

My graduating class had seven people in it. Three of my classmates were from different foreign countries. One of the remaining is in prison. Oh, and the school closed the year after we graduated.

As far as I know there’s never been discussions of a reunion, but I also moved far away and don’t use social media lol

Pennsylvania is a swing state, right? And New Jersey inched closer to purple last election I think. Seems like this is timed for mid-terms
