I don’t actually know do birds have higher tendency to inbreeding in nature. I know in captivity especially the smaller, more aviary setting kept birds might breed with their siblings and parents if there’s not enough unrelated mates.

And with hand-fed bigger parrots getting bonded to humans in general is like grooming, very simplified. Growing up without proper birding tends to cause all sorts of mental problems already, and they might not have any other person or parrot to seek company from, and at worst people do stuff like stroke their backs which is a sexual signal. So what’s a hormonal teenager gonna do when the strong instinct of gotta find a mate kicks in?

This is actually one part of why fully hand-rearing baby parrots should not be done. When they don’t perceive themselves as birds and will only bond to humans, they can get extremely frustrated since humans can’t properly answer to their instinctual needs like mating behavior. This then easily leads to plenty of behavioral issues like excessive screaming and aggression towards even the human they’re bonded with. Never seek to become a birds mate, just be friends with them

Yes it’s less dangerous (not dangerless obviously), in Europe the swat teams tend to be better trained and way less trigger happy than in USA. If part of (be it sixth or less) a cultural minority is put into internment camps, such a big portion of one ethnicity to be criminals in any common means is so unlikely it’s clearly a state approved genocide. Wonder Woman also manages to make great humor out of how she’s basically in the wrong place, wrong time. That contrast works and makes all the interactions and characters themselves around it more interesting than they would be in a different plot. The ending really is the greatest weakness of the movie; a clearly way easier and better ending would have been that there was no big bad guy, that it was just the humans being humans. Now it just fell flat instead of having some slightly deeper and way more interesting insight.

I’d say it’s what usually fails most action films in general though. Big bad evil, hero fight evil, evil beaten yayy but heavy cost. Even otherwise good action films like John Wick end up repeating the cliché. It’s very disappointing every time they do it and has ruined so many movies already. Do people really want to see the boring end fight that you know is coming and will always go the same way over and over again?

Sims family trees! What I use right now is quikflow, it’s the only tool I’ve found so far that actually allows me do what I need on the fly, since I use it as I play. The auto arranging especially is priceless, when there’s easily over 100 sims and they’re all related to each other it gets really difficult to keep track of the family without the fluid enough software for it. The trees also constantly grow and change, and I have to mark all the dead and family lines etc. and it’s just a giant clusterfuck lmao (but it’s incredibly fun). I do keep searching for a linux-usable program that would be even better suited for the trees, but so far I haven’t found any, they’re all too bulky and lack the auto arranging and/or easy cross-linking.

And yeah, I might have to just do something like that. With the lutris versions the trouble is the links keep dying (I think EA is intentionally targeting them to get people buy legacy edition), so every time I look into it they are dead already, or have installation requirements that are seriously complicated. I probably do have to jump to legacy version at some point, but then I’ll also have problems with the extra programs… yeah, I have no idea how to sort out that whole mess.
