They’re literally making new jet set radio and crazy taxi games right now though

The thing that killed it for me is that the touch pads were just terrible as replacements for the dpad and right analog stick

Actually she isn’t getting your real name through Steam, it was pulling the name you had for your user profile on your OS afaik. There’s several other games that have done something similar, it’s not very hard at all for a program to pull that information.

They already don’t give a damn about veterans as is

Because it is developed by people whose understanding of “art” is “how closely can it imitate reality” because they lack any creativity
You’re judging it based on a tiny, blurry image, here’s a clearer one
You say “those few plastic bricks” but that set was 909 pieces, that’s about 12 cents per brick
This doesn’t make any sense when you consider that birds hold their heads still while flying and are very good at spotting things on the ground while doing it. The reason I know for why birds bob their heads is that they can’t move their eyes in their sockets. So they both their head forward the same way our eyes will jump from position to position rather than move smoothly, it minimizes the blur you get from rapid movements.

Veritasium partnered up with a private equity firm around the time his videos became far more sensationalist and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. His videos have become far more misleading and willing to stretch the truth for views in the past few years, so I simply stopped watching his stuff and don’t trust his content.

This is basically exactly how the Iconoclasts series by Mike Shel came about. He was writing a module for D&D and the publisher was like “dude you wrote way more into this than it actually needs, you need to go write a book”
So he did, and it was great, go read Aching God

But it did mean they would ship them broken with no chance of fixing them, tbf.
Idk I quit after God Emperor, too, that kind of felt like the end of things to me. The book after just wasn’t interesting anymore
