In the immortal words of George Carlin: “Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?”

That sounds alright. I should probably find something similar and stop feeding the machine…
Yeah, I’m in the process of putting everything on Bandcamp. If I’m not going to be making any money, might as well not be spending the little I do.
Could be worse!
I’ve got 14 million listens over four years on Distrokid, and that just about covered the cost of four years with Distrokid. On their most minimal plan.
Good thing I am also in it for the music.
Some round one, I forget the name. I love it.
Haha! Fuck My Sassy Girl. It’s been a long time since I watched it, but my memory is that she’s an utter bitch to him the entire film, and it’s all romantic when he learns to take it so they can be together? Dude should’ve walked.

I honestly don’t remember much of the plot of any of those games. Great games, though!
I used to always automatically answer Apocalypse Now for this question. I’m not sure anymore, but it’s still a great movie.
Don’t watch the director’s cut. It’s longer and adds nothing of value.
Blade Runner is also up there. Do watch the director’s cut with no narration.

Lost never delivered on its initial promise of cool science fiction mystery. It became increasingly clear as the seasons went on that the writers had no fucking clue where they were going with any of this stuff and just gave up and everyone-was-dead-all-along was the only way out even though they promised early on that wasn’t the case. Fuck that show and Abrams in particular.

That’s probably the most concise explanation of souls games I’ve heard yet!
My first time through Sekiro, I probably died over 100 times before Madame Butterfly. My second time through Sekiro, I got to her and beat her without dying once. It was glorious! I don’t think the combat in that game will ever be topped.
Excuse me, but it is “breaking the law”. Rob Halford is a proper Englishman who does not say “breakin’”.

$179’999.99 is ridiculous. Is someone really going to look at that and say “Oh hey, it’s less than 180’000! What a steal!”?
Yes. It is actually a master class in mind-numbing inanity. I imagine Warhol’s Sleep is more engaging.
I watched that fully knowing it was supposed to be terrible. I was unprepared. I can only imagine aneurysms are more pleasant to endure. It’s only an hour-and-a-half or something, but it feels like five. Something to put on Sunday night when you know Monday is coming I suppose.
You can get USB drives for a pittance.

Haha! I want to criticize this picture so much.

Absolutely. So much nuance is lost in a mix. Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s just dumb to think a $3000 synthesizer is going to sound better than a $10 plugin when you’ve got it buried amongst guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.

Ugh, compression is a nightmare in general. One person will tell you unless you’re using some fancy multi-band compressor on every single track, you’re doing it wrong, and another will tell you you should do your best to not use any at all. Add to that many, many people don’t even know what it does, and more can’t even hear what it does.
They’re too miserable for the mainstream. They’d also need to be pretty graphic to do the books any justice.
