You can probably make a sustainable business out of AI agents! Having something like Claude Code is pretty neat. I love having it at my side. Would I pay the business rates for it? Hell nah. They need to bring down their cost, gain efficiency. Maybe increase reliability while they are at it.

There is no infinite growth as long as AI doesn’t learn to act reliably, and on its own. According to experts this is anywhere from 10 to 100 years away. As someome with a CS major, I tend to agree.

I don’t know what you think you are on about, but (in western countries) rapists aren’t usually executed or tortured, and mental illness is usually taken into accout in sentencing of anything. That said, you would have to have a pretty fucking wild mental problem to be have it save you from a rape sentence altogeher. Loss of control is punished to prevent you from losing it after all.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, they are flying at hypersoniic speed, but that is nothing special. The dangerous things are maneuverable (i.e. non-ballistic) hypersonic missiles. They are extremely hard to intercept, but also to make. Hence the propaganda, the Russians want to sound threatening, even though the rockets are not special at all.

Civilized countries don’t engage in death penalties. Not that I wouldn’t appreaciate an exception here and there, but, ya know, just saying.

I would add that in many places, you will find absolutely no English signs or menus. I don’t know how it is in Munich, but outside airports and central stations you are often SOL if you speak 0 German and don’t have a way to translate text from images.

The main problem is control ig. On Signal, someone can ask for a code or passwords to log into your account or get your data. If you have your own solution, you can have physical security keys to verify yourself, making it impossible to give anything to anyone via the internet. You can also monitor logins and make logins on new, unauthorized devices impossible.

Encrypting stuff is not really the hard part of keeping oblivious users safe. As far as that goes, they will be fine if they have people who know what they are doing use established, well audited implementations.

I got a Swatch from their collab with Omega (as in ‘the famous watch brand’, although ‘OMEGA COLLAB’ totally sounds like a meme). It is kinda cool. Very light, ticks quite loud (I like ticking), looks stylish… But it only came with one strap and it is not only a velcro one, it’s also ever so slightly too large for me. That is both weird and disappointing. I think it is made of ceramic, not plastik, but I might resell it nonetheless.
