Gone Pro sounds like maybe they leveled up from amateur. A lack of them in the future would be NoPro
East Indian cuisine gets fairly close to Chinese food. Most of the dishes in western countries are going to be north Indian, which I think really means northwest. Punjabi and Gujarati regions. They’re the wealthier states with a greater number of emigrants. South Indian is a different style as well, but I’m not familiar with it.
Experiencing East India damn near instantly made me wonder what my country’s tourists/expats look like in comparison to the actual country’s makeup. Just a bit of a surprise that for having a poor international reputation, I feel like it’s a more progressive portion of the country that goes abroad. And we’re still bad? Either my country is even worse than the world thinks, or my people are way too entitled abroad, knowingly or not.
Some northeastern rep/candidate on the democratic side has a totenkopf skull tattoo on his chest. That’s your keyword because I can’t remember the rest

Does it have a practical use? If yes, I agree with your reservations. If no, then someone is going to buy it to either look at or sell to someone else to look at. May as well buy it direct and preserve it respectfully. But I understand and I do appreciate the group-benefit mentality

3D printing. Part of the issue is my main filament-based project needs to be ABS so I don’t have much interest in a starter printer. I also have enough finicky devices that I really don’t want to figure out another. So I landed on the prusa mk3 when that was still the current model and havent committed the money to it. It’s not like I’m starved for solutions given that I can make widgets from wood or aluminum. I even ramped up my steel fab capability with a nice welder that cost half a prusa. So buying a printer has been on a perpetual backburner.
Plus I know solidworks well and the work flows in every other cad infuriates me.

I often make the same argument against myself for limited resources but ultimately, if the resource is affordable, then it probably isn’t rare on the scale that hobbyists would affect it. But then there’s helium, which is somehow not anywhere near abundant enough for the low price they charge to fill a balloon. While hobbyists still wouldn’t affect the supply that much, I don’t like supporting balloons anymore. Weird hill to die on for 95% of people or greater.

I have a dashcam. I recommend it as well. It’s made me a more careful driver that road rages less because I know it’s all on camera. Sometimes I wonder if I need a decoy camera though in the event of burglary and, perhaps, if I’m removed from my vehicle by police. I hate this paranoia

The majority of bike lights throw a circle/oval/flood pattern which means they have to be aimed high to be usable. It’s just a flashlight at that point. It’s easy to make a decent beam pattern but neither the manufacturers nor the buyers give a shit.

The images included are the same provided in my paper factory manuals

Clutch knee to steering wheel. You just can’t steer and shift at the same time. At least not until you figure out clurchless shifting

Makes you wonder how many other tickets in this “safety campaign” were fraudulent. My area has done these targeted enforcement days. They spend 8 hours writing tickets, then pat themselves on the back and plan to do the same thing next year. Meanwhile, the average driver is still doing 60km/h on a residential street. But at least they caught those pesky people using the shoulder at an intersection that wasn’t designed for modern demand.

Ngl, I’ve let go of the wheel because my window arm was comfortable. Maybe bring up a knee just in case. “get your teen a manual because they can’t do anything else with their hands!”
Bet.

“suicide knob” is a classic device I’ve seen before. They were popular in the 60s or so. Named as such because they had a knack for snapping off. It’s still in use for people with various disabilities. However, it’s not especially hard to steer with one hand. I probably went 4 years after the driving test using only one hand with a palm spin. But then I got a car with a slightly slicker, heavier steering wheel and it didn’t work so well.
We don’t have to be unique, we might just be the next stop that has the resources. Maybe they’re supernaturally interstellar and can move on. Maybe they’re barely interstellar and can’t afford to skip. Maybe nearly every earth-like has life and it’s all deemed lower-ranking than this interstellar society. Maybe nearly every earth-like has life but this interstellar species has no anthropomorphic mammalian qualities and they don’t care. There’s no reason to beleive we can negotiate with aliens when humans largely do not respectfully negotiate with other species now. Hell, we don’t negotiate respectfully between ourselves
Nobody goes there. It’s too crowded

If it’s uniformly heated, sure, the liquid is at max temperature. But even in a pot of just water, the convection isn’t that fast on its own. Bubbles move very fast, liquid does not. The top is cooler. Even the center of the bottom is cooler, as the vapor bubbles will primarily form in a ring the size of the burner. The non-bubbling vapor cools the surface water at the top and the pot walls cool from external airflow. While near-boiling water may effectively be as hot as it needs to be to cook pasta, there’s still gaps between boiling, rapidly boiling, and actually being at the boiling point uniformly
Eat cheese and sin
I give this movie two thumbs
VW is not really in the business of selling $6,000 used cars. “EVs are better (for people buying new cars)” says exec of company that sells new cars
