This will work out great! No student will ever sneak phones in class and text without the teacher looking, ever!

Playing the 1.7 uodate in Arma Reforger. It’s a hot mess. I felt experimental wasn’t nearly this bad. Playing as the FIA is such a fun way for both sides to keep them on their toes (unless both sides team up to do a “fox hunt” on FIA)
Also playing Monster Hunter Rise. Long time on and off fan. Wasn’t crazy about World, but Rise simplied a ton of thing that made MH get old really fast. I love how other larger monsters can come into a monster you are fighting and “help” out.

Came here to say this.
Work phone for work use (they can load any and everything they want, not my phone)
Personal phone is mine and I control what is installed

Crazy, it’s almost like they treat us like inmates!

I’m shocked it took them this long. Amazon has been doing this for several years now

Either will work. Here in Ohio, our tiny population of hogs are small fries compared to out west

I mean current laws now don’t stop some hillbilly from maiming a deer with buckshot because of “headshots one drop herrr” or a low charged 38 caliber muzzleloader.
I hope they open up the laws more. My state allows all straight walled rounds 350 legend-50 cal, but no bottleneck for deer. You’re telling me a 45-70 or 50-110 is safer to use than my 22-250? Just fudd brained people making laws

Hogs is another common critter.
With the right hollow point and good shot placement, I don’t see it having a problem taking down a white tail

5.56 or 223 is a solid coyote or groundhog round and has been popular for 30+ years now. With the properly set up AR15, they can reach out 500m no problem
Either 5.56 or 12GA are great home defense rounds.

Good luck buying a full auto, those cost more than cars and have so much red tape buying.
If you are talking about the off the store shelf civilian semi auto AR15, you can 100% hunt with it. I use mine for coyote hunting or 2/4 legged critter defense. 5.56 or 223 is a really great varmine round. Flat shooting, light recoil, super quiet with a can, cheap rifle and ammo.
Sure, it’s not as much as a challenge, but an AR15 cost the same price as a low end compound bow. Recurves are expensive. You also have to have a place to shoot and practice your bow, have the physical strength to actually shoot it.
Nothing wrong with hunting “modern” weapons. I used to bow hunt, but havent for 10 years due to basicly having to buy a whole new bow since the carbom fibre and string degrading naturally. AR15s are great (and safe) to hunt with and not a new concept.

Here me out, I completely agree and understand. I meant how harmful data centers were due to how much water and environmental damage they cause (I’m pro nuclear anyways).
I’m simply saying I’d have either of those two since they actually contribute something back vs data centers that don’t.

I would gladly take a nuclear power plant or oil field in my backyard than a useless AI center that is worse for the environment than those two.

This is interesting

So in the US, mesh is on the ISM 902-928 mhz band and is unlicensed. It has both a power and bandwidth restriction (26mhz) compaired other mode to prevent harmful interference to other users.
We can look at CB Single Sideband (SSB) that you can split the audio into two different “sides” and have operators transmiting on upper and lower without interfering with another.
Tl;dr too nerdy: Techincally yes, you can use voice over mesh and a lot of amateur radio operators transmit voice over 900 into the giga bands sucessfully. All Meshtastic is, is a two way radio.
I believe the reason it’s only text based is due to collision. Irrc last year’s Ham Fest Mesh crashed due to too many users on the “network”. It’s been patched since then and everyone uses (mid short? I cant remember atm) a different mode now.
