Certain types of stupid people get mean around computers because they are frustrating to use if you don’t understand what you are doing.
Computers are complex machines with a lot of options and no understanding of intent. When dealing with simple machines, someone can just poke random things until they get the outcome they want, limited understanding required. When talking to a person, the other person can recognize their question makes no sense and try to find their misunderstanding or explain in simpler terms.
A computer responds to these things with an error message they don’t understand or don’t care to understand. It won’t use simpler language if they seemed confused. It won’t try to calm them down if they start showing frustration. It will just keep doing what it’s doing and make them feel stupid, leading to frustration and anger.
On the flip side, a lot of stupid people love LLMs because they will accept any insane input and will output a reasonable looking answer(correct or not) while showering them in validation.

I’m no fan of AI, but this doesn’t sound like an AI problem. They switched to using delivery contractors instead of employees to put more of the risk and cost on the delivery drivers. The payment structure to those delivery drivers is not really affected by Pizza Hut’s customer satisfaction, just the number of deliveries they make and tip amount on those deliveries. So the drivers bundle orders and ignore low tip orders.
Pizza Hut can have the lower costs of contractors or the increased quality control of employees and they chose the lower costs.

Before FTX was shut down for their other sketchy behavior, they were advertising using fortune cookies. The fortune would be something saying to take a risk and the back was an ad for FTX. Most manipulative cookie I’ve ever had.

If you don’t think you were an idiot 10 years ago, you haven’t learned enough in those 10 years
The eastern half is flat and empty. The western half is mountainous like Switzerland, but also pretty empty. Most of the people live in a strip of cities along the foothills.
The mountains are impressive and the elevation gets nearly as high as the highest point in the alps. What’s weird about Colorado is that even the lowest elevation areas are really high up. Denver is at the base of the mountains, but is at 5280ft/1610m. For comparison, most of Switzerland’s cities are below 1500ft/500m.

Greece’s official English name is the Hellenic Republic, named after Helen of Troy.

They’re concerned about the precedent set if they allow taxation to be included as part of regulatory powers. If they allowed this, then precedent is set for the next Dem president to come in and just start taxing companies that don’t align with their policy goals. So something like taxing carbon emissions no longer needs Congressional approval.
I was never good at typing until I got a job programming. Never took a course or anything so I’m definitely not using proper form, but if you use a keyboard enough your fingers learn where the keys are.
A course might help, but like all muscle memory, the trick is to just practice it enough times that you don’t need to think about it anymore.
Big creature that primarily eats grass. Bad at digesting grass. Worse at digesting other things with gas and intestinal issues being common causes of death.
No idea how something so bad at eating survives on it’s own

What something tastes like is part of your perception of it though. It’s an interaction that is based as much on the tongue doing the tasting as the substance being tasted.
I don’t think either way you tasted it was more “real” or “accurate”, but could be closer to what the majority of people experience.
A mill grinds grain, a windmill is just a mill powered by wind. It’s not technically correct to call a wind turbine or wind-powered pump a windmill, but that’s how it’s commonly used. So this comment chain is a pedantic correction leading into the ground water pun.
It’s a solid pun, but does require the background of pedantic Internet discussions
