Interesting one. Not a “bouquet” but clearly a dedicated one I align with.

Ho TIL… that’s a nice one. I still stand by my « let’s have a way to participate more » but this is definitely nice to know that my taxes are at least supporting some.

I don’t platform shit, my point is « let’s enjoy this relatively unique alignement of opinion and reach of the statement ».
You are filling all the gaps yourself here, creating a unique narrative not unlike that of Tolkien given how enormous and wild it is.

Man, it is ONE isolated statement we benefit for, not condoning the establishment - why the hell are you obsessed with dragging the discussion there?

Lots of what’s ifs in there. Benefiting from their word is not the same as condoning them.
Additionally this is not about being against AI, it’s about putting humanity first… which would be a rather interesting position to see Hilter adopt isn’t it?
No quid pro quo needed either btw - the pope’s position is a self sufficient topic, there’s no need to bring the whole gang in this.

Is there like a meta-subscription somewhere to do that? I honestly don’t have time to look into this structurally but if there was a simple « humble bundle » style app I would use it over when I stumble on a button somewhere on GitHub.
It would be nice to have it curated - I personally don’t track FOSS projects that support my life.

It’s always nice to see those relay such a perspective. They have ~1 billion followers - let’s welcome when their interests and discourses align with ours.
They certainly have a broader reach than this lill sub…
Is all of that on top of your actual package or does he hold you green card in exchange?

Just ask for the customer’s first born at this stage…

Beside the « personal tasks » or generally any personal data that might be processed locally by performing those - which are likely allowed to a certain extent by internal policies in large companies - the behaviour determination by keystroke / microphone / camera analysis is a privacy concern whatever data is involved.
It’s a level of surveillance that goes way to far. This is indeed a step too far.

With some luck under that jurisdiction’s law that serves as a recognition of guilt / fault and opens way for further litigation against former owners?

Nha that’s not flying. The gag order thingy is still our problem with those « sovereign » clouds… it’s only sovereign until US gov decides it’s not anymore. See SCHREMS and his admirable endeavours.

This is literally their latest attempt at malicious compliance so you’re not wrong. EU will play ball for sure.

Maybe that’s not the most popular content on my Plex config but all my fishing session recordings are on it and those belong to me :)

Nice to see Celldweller mentioned :)

My all time favourite. On private shards though. The one called « Avalon » about 20/25 years ago was my absolute fav. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I would assume that it would take a lot of stability to reach a technology level compatible with interstellar travel. It would be only achievable for a specie that reached a very peaceful way of life. So I would assume they would be rather benevolent and avoid any accidental wipeout.
Now would they care at all… maybe as scholars of the universe ?

The more I think about it the more I suspect it’s going to be to the benefit of the identity providers that will collect even more data about everyone needing to prove their age. I can’t think of any other group of financial interests over this.

Add a bunch of app to look for home properties or fishing spots and that’s me as well. Maybe add kindle app if I forgot the device home.
As much as I love my EV I’ll keep my horse au naturel…
