It’s at least been as valuable and constructive as your jackass question.

To be honest though stressing about it is probably worse than the milk so you do you.

Where?!? We recently moved to the largest city in my state and I still haven’t had any better luck. I’ve applied to over 150 jobs and had two interviews 14 months apart… I had a recruiter tell me that they’ve only had a couple jobs go by their desk in the last few months, and each of them was for a very very specific software stack. And the worst part is that the amount of spam calls that I get tell me that half of these jobs have just been honey pots.

Yes, I don’t disagree with this assessment. My problem is with talking about the decreasing quality of logistics by relating hot meals to the presence of women.

Here you go. As with a great many things, more research needs to be done on the subject and it depends on the cancer, the dairy, and the person.

Literally? If that were true then I would be the only person up voting me or down voting them.
Of course I am, it’s my personal opinion, and I’ve already said I don’t like things being pointlessly gendered which is also an opinion. But saying that no one else thought that is just being obtuse.

Did you really just explain it to me again??? So you just didn’t even read my posts then?
For the record saying something sounds like something else isn’t misinterpreting anything it’s a fucking opinion. Please keep that in mind, you are getting butt hurt over some random Internet person‘s opinion… And if I was the only one looking at it that way I wouldn’t be the only person down voting them or up voting me. Just because an opinion is in the minority doesn’t make it invalid, and just because an opinion is in the majority doesn’t make it valid.

Sure but that’s not what they said; this person very specifically said women being removed is the reason hot meals are not being served. I’m happy for you that it didn’t feel sexist to you, but it did to me, and I felt like that needed to be pointed out.

Logistics has little to do with hot meals, one is vitally important to the military, the other makes it sound like you’re saying women belong in the kitchen.

I disagree, because this person specifically started with pointing out hot meals before talking about Logistics. Literally, they could have left the first sentence off and it would have sounded way less sexist.

You did not need to explain it to me. My problem is with pointlessly gendering things. Replacing experienced people with unexperienced people is always going to be a problem regardless of what gender those people are. So starting the comment by saying this is why hot meals can’t be served just makes it sound like the commentor is being sexist.

The HR person at my last job had Bible verses on the wall. And the hospital I worked at several years ago was Catholic to the point that I kept having to attend blessings by the local bishop. Christians will never cease to amaze me with their ability to be hypocrites.

Not that it matters, I’ve been a developer for 15 years and unemployed for the last 18 months. There are no jobs right now, and it doesn’t seem like there’s going to be any anytime soon.

I mean… Adults shouldn’t really be drinking milk regardless… It’s full of all kinds of hormones that don’t do anything but give adults cancer since adults aren’t growing anymore.

It sounds suspiciously like you’re saying that men don’t know how to cook…

That reminds me of a terrible old joke:
A young worker is putting on house siding when the foreman shows up, the foreman notices the young worker tossing every couple of nails out into the yard from his pouch. When the foreman asks “why are you throwing the nails out”, the young worker says “well they’re pointed the wrong direction I can’t hammer them into the wall”. To this the foreman replies “you idiot! Those are for the other side of the house!“
Not sure if autocorrect or boneappletea but *Overton Window.
There are at least two cars owned by members of my family that I am aware of that have a fatigue detection, and neither of them use cameras. So I’m firmly in the creepy camp.
As I understand it George was the ideas man, part of the reason the prequels went off the rails a bit is because he removed himself from people who had helped the original trilogy be what it is, people like Lawrence Kasden. I’ve always been curious which one of them had them kiss and which one of them decided they were siblings as much of Empire was written by Kasden.
I honestly don’t know what you’re trying to say here. There really isn’t other degrees in software, MIS for instance is a degree in IT. My degree is in computer science with a minor in math.
