I think it’s an update from January. The first produced R5s doesn’t seem to have the camera on the A-pillar. It’s part of the media system which is used in other models as well.
I can’t imagine that rentals or fleet cars will throw a warning every time someone new uses the car, so I want to bet that the warnings can be disabled somehow with the right access to the ECU.
Renault uses their own ECU computers, which are quite expensive, but previous versions have been accessible using an OSB dongle with other software.

It’s an EU decision. It will be coming to many more cars as it will be mandatory from July 2026 for all newly registered vehicles. Renault 5 is simply one of the first new cars to feature it.
According to the same law, it is illegal to use the system in a way that can identify the person, it may not save biometrics, and it must function in closed loop without sharing the data. It’s looking for things like head nodding or looking away from the road for more than 3.5 seconds while driving over 50 km/h. The camera is likely using infrared lighting as it should also work at night.

Ok, so Sunvox is also an instrument, and can be used for jamming. Sometimes the simplest sounds can inspire you to make more.
It is a lot like trying to write the first words on an empty page. However once you get started, one sentence leads to the next.
I like to draft a track by using a basic sound. Build up more stuff around it and eventually remove the draft. Like, the important part isn’t the sound design, it’s the structure and progress of the music, and just getting started on something that is more than a one pattern loop.
I try to consider what would happen if someone actually had the integrity to stand up to this shit.
They’d get outed for holding back the budget. Media would be all over it framing them as being obstructionist.
It’d require some balls and connection to the media to set the story straight.
But it’d also require that they even know about what they’re voting for. These kinds of changes are deliberately being shoveled onto the cart after train has started running. You’d have to hire a team to read everything as soon as it written and demand that changes are published before voting, which it is sometimes isn’t, so this is something that also have to be addressed all the while the media is shooting at you.

If you want to write music, I would suggest forgetting about DAWs all together for a start. Get an instrument instead. Piece of paper and a pencil.
Only open your computer when you have something that you want to put in it. If you start with the DAW you’ll be twitching knobs all day without getting anything done.
