That can happen with cash bail too. You know that cashless bail doesn’t mean everyone just gets bail right? It means that bail is determined by a judge depending on your flight risk and danger to the community instead of a dollar amount.
Growing pains of an emerging consciousness.
Never dies of old age but still can die from trauma, disease, and predation. And like all life it’ll naturally want to avoid those things.

Probably not, because romantic entanglements make for better TV.
Sort of but not really. Consciousness is intrinsic to a living brain. So while the basic components that we’re made out of will continue on until the end of the universe, our time as unique individuals and our experience of it will come to an end. Which is a bummer for us, but that’s a natural aversion that all life necessarily shares.

JB has an excellent track record of passing legislation that benefits the working class and protects marginalized people. It’s evident that he cares for the people of IL and is trying to do what’s best.

This is big “Thrawn recommends fighters and Star Destroyers while the Emperor wants to build a Death Star” energy for those who know ball

Far from the beginning. The ISS has been planned to be decommissioned for a long time.

And what if they’re able to avoid you? It’s definitely not worth the risk. The meta for Mario Kart Wii is very mature and established. If the top players aren’t doing it, you can bet it’s not a good strategy.

No. The reason no one’s doing it is because it’s not worth it to slow down one person and let four others pass you.

Not really. If I like it I upvote it, if I dislike it I downvote it. If it seems interesting I’ll click it, if not I won’t. And if I got something to say I’ll say it.

Hot dogs are not tacos because we don’t call them tacos.

And a hot dog is not a sandwich because most people don’t call it a sandwich.
The definitions of words are based on how we use them for efficient communication. They don’t exist to fit into perfectly neat, logical, consistent boxes.

Water is wet because we call it wet

Why does this make people narrow minded?

Before anyone says “this is just performative” I’d like to remind you that a good deal of politics is just that: it’s performative, it’s virtue signaling, it’s letting your colleagues and constituents know where you stand on issues.
I feel like those two blue guys are often not the same guy. This seems like a goomba fallacy.
Anecdotally I’ve always heard this and experienced it myself, interesting to see it’s backed by evidence!
