Help me understand again how there isn’t enough wealth in this world to give everyone healthcare, shelter, and enough food not to starve?
We are providing housing camps for AI infrastructure, and AI is nothing more than an idea. Meanwhile the suffering of all life on the planet just goes on because a few monkeys just decided this is the way?

It’s slow and hard to fire low performers case by case.
It’s quick and easy to fire large swaths of allegedly low performers under the guise of a layoff.
You can always quickly rehire any layoff mistakes, and Wall Street is rewarding layoffs these days if it’s for AI.

I’m just about done season 5 of the boys and I just can’t stop seeing everything from that show being relevant with what’s going on in America.
It hurts how campy that show is and yet even though we don’t have literal super heroes we still have garbage homelander.
If he does this and the elections do seem like they were tampered with by our government, do we need to get the rebellion going?
What steps can we take short of that at that point?
How will they know who got the payouts though? Unless the government outs them I thought there were no requirements on reporting where the money is going?
No kidding, I assume they are watching everyone online and flagging anything that isn’t ending with Praise Be to Lord Trump.

Ugh I’m so sorry. Tinnitus blows and in the more than 30 years I’ve lived with it I will say I’ve tried everything, spent all kinds of money on apps and gadgets and tests therapies of all kinds, and nothing works for me.
Maybe something will work for you, but the only advice I can share is do everything you can to protect your hearing from loud noises now to reduce the chances of getting more damage and making it worse. You only get one hearing capability and it doesn’t seem to regenerate and there’s currently no treatments to help it do that, so save what you have now!
I was an idiot in my 20s a loud concerts right next to speakers because it felt awesome, and I’ll pay the price for it till I die.

AI will make money, it’s currently in the make users happy stage which is the least profitable but most important lock in stage.
Stage two comes post IPO when they shift value from users to businesses. They will start printing lots of money at this point.
Stage 3 is where they start to squeeze everyone to their own benefit and start generating cash to the moon and everyone bemoans how they miss the old days of answers without product hints or other nonsense and husinesses miss the old days when they could do anything on top of AI that could make a profit.
Don’t worry, it’s coming, AI stocks are going to drop post IPO because of a surplus of hype and cash but mid to long term they will go crazy high as stage 2 and 3 come online.
This has happened so many times with new tech, it will happen again. Don’t bet against it.
