The index’s resolution kind of sucks at 1440x1600.The steamframe is better at 2160x2160. The index is kind of potato vision IMO. The really high quality tracking from light houses is all the index has.

I want the wireless phovated streaming. I’m hoping I can use it in my backyard to have a huge play space. I also like the idea of using it as a linux “spatial computer”. IDK how well that’s going to work. I might still use my index for seated VR stuff where any drift would be noticeable.

I’m hype for the steam frame. I want an index upgrade so bad.

Yeah, I’m running lubuntu on it. I have bash script to turn it off when unplugged and I run feh with the slide show option on start up. It works fairly seamlessly.

This comic sums it up for me.

I assume it will work on linux day one considering it’s steamdeck verified.

I don’t have an issue with the technology. It’s the business IPOing and getting rich off of stolen work that bothers me. It’s not even the stealing that bothers me, it just the double standard that if single person did what these companies are doing they would be sued into oblivion. Also, I’m going to be really pissed if my tax dollars have to go to AI bail outs when the bubble pops.

You can always freeze a portion of it. It should stay good for years frozen although it will lose flavor overtime. In the fridge I would say no longer than a week YMMV.

Yeah, I think I did mix up the nutrition facts and ingredients. Or they changed the labels because I checked ononline and in a store and it says salt. I don’t see sodium and chloride though so maybe they did change the label.
This is what I use. The extra protection is great when I ride my bicycle or it’s really windy. I can’t stand sunglasses that are flat/open on sides and sports sunglasses are just expensive safety sunglasses IMO.

I’ve been running Ubuntu on my pinebook pro. It’s quite usable. I also put the ssd adapter in it. That helps a lot with firefox loading super slow but it also munches the battery.

I wouldn’t mind more natural features in stores.
NoSt eam, Obviously.
