+1 to modded minecraft. The Create mod and its many many many addons would fit right in with OPs tastes I think. A team of modders even made a mod adding physics that allow for building planes, cars, and more. It’s pretty wild.

Hideous on the outside but that interior is slick ngl.

I think it’s not as much difficulty rather than the fun in learning a language. I recently took a year of French (A1) and am a couple months into a Japanese course, and I have a lot more fun with Japanese, even though it should be harder. There’s a lot of fun in learning katakana and hiragana, and sites like Wanikani help make kanji learning really fun too.
That being said, yes the progress is a lot slower in Japanese. In French I could make some pretty long complex sentences relatively quickly. In Japanese it’s still things like “Mary ate breakfast in a cafe and watched a movie with a friend on Saturday” after 5 months. In my French class we did stuff like that maybe 2 months in (though we stayed in the present tense a lot longer).
Overall I think if you have fun the difficulty doesn’t matter. Good luck if you have to learn a language you don’t like though.

Well my life has been in constant turmoil since November. I broke up with my girlfriend of six years, moved out of our shared apartment into a flatshare in a mouldy shithole, got the majority of my friends to hate me from how I acted towards my ex, and now my kidneys have failed and I have been undergoing dialysis for nearly 2 months. This has caused me to be depressed, anxious all the time, and just plain lonely. Every day right now feels like a fight for survival. From high blood pressure giving me intense headaches, to fluid overload causing swelling everywhere and coughing from fluid in my lungs. Things just haven’t been going well for me. I also had to postpone my master’s thesis to next year.
I still need to figure out what to do with that shared apartment, how to survive until the end of summer which is when I’ll hopefully have my transplant, and how to make friends again now that I’m an adult.
Honestly if it wasn’t for my current girlfriend and my parents I don’t think I’d survive this, and I often feel like all this is my fault. It has also only recently hit me that yes, I am struggling, and things have been difficult, even if I never had to worry about things like money or having a roof over my head. I just wish for some rest.

I wonder if these revival projects will work well with a heavily modded Skyrim VR. Would really give these releases a lot more longevity with that.

You do realise server and take back control of your tech stuff is currently getting quite trendy on socials, right? A lot of GenZ are driving this too. I’m GenZ and most of my friends would love a small server or something, and the ones that aren’t convinced love my (janky) setup.

I think it was confirmed that they’re friends or at least used to be in like 2019. Not sure how it is now with how far off the deep end musk went.

Yeah I think the limit was two per account. I don’t think scalpers are really to blame here they just really didn’t account for how much people wanted this thing.

Motorola also has foldables so maybe one day in the future they’ll ship one with grapheneOS if this launch works out.

Super Hot VR is SO much fun in VR. Definitely a must play.

Hahaha, I only played it with friends and didn’t really enjoy it that much on my own. I think I played it for like a year on and off.

I’m not proud of it but most likely League of Legends. It was pretty much the only game I played along with csgo in 2016 when I was a teenager. Dark times. I don’t know how many hours I have in League but in csgo I have 216h which compared to some people here isn’t that much lol.

TLJ at least is a real movie. Rise of Skywalker meanwhile is so soulless it’s shocking.

If you go by release date then that can’t be true considering the prequels (even though I love them). TFA was also so bland compared to the rest. The Last Jedi was the only decent one since the original trilogy imo.
But oh my god rise of skywalker is so fucking bad.

Or which one gets BETTER with each new film.

The Steam Deck released in 2022… 4 years ago. It’s now a bit underpowered, especially when compared to the Switch 2 and newer Windows handhelds. Even ARM based handhelds are catching up. I think next year would be the perfect time for a steam deck 2.

Just having good gyro support on pc with this is a game changer. The trackpads are awesome too. Definitely worth the money if you’re someone who will use those features. Otherwise there are better priced normal controllers. I wish it had haptic triggers like the dualsense but they’d probably go unused in 99% of games so fair enough.
I remember there being rumors years and years ago that they were working on a VR + flatscreen online game. No idea if it’s still a thing but it would be the perfect release for these.
