Most driver hardship these days stems from putting Linux on locked down or uncommon/ niche hardware. Basically any system you’ve listed will do fine without tinkering, pick the system you want with the features you need, buy it, then install Linux. I bet most things just work out of the box.

I think you need to install pipewire-pulse and pipewire-alsa. Make sure you have the pipewire.service and pipewire-pulse.service services enabled and started. What app are you using to make the app connections?
