The layout of Tickmate is the main benefit IMO. It’s reports are very basic, and has some bugs due to the age of the app. I’m hoping someday someone will fork it.
I want to switch to Track & Graph so bad, but I feel like I’m rusted onto Tickmate for my tracking. The grid of “pixels” showing the last two weeks of habits is just so convenient.
These threads come up every so often and I read them all, every time, just in case there’s a gem I haven’t heard of. Thanks y’all.

I have similar issues, though maybe not quite as intense as yours. I also have ADHD, and my eyes “wander” more when I am unmedicated. I think it’s kind of like being drawn to shiny things, but there’s also an element of objectification to it, which is the part that makes me uncomfortable.
I think checking people out is OK and human, but if you’re going out of your way to walk places where there will be more people available to look at, maybe you need to reflect on what you’re really after. Are you single? Lonely?
There are lots of interesting things to focus on that are not women’s bodies existing out in public. If you’re finding it hard to focus on anything but butts, might be worth talking to a therapist about. Idk, just my $0.02.

I’d say it’s technically a lie: an intentional misleading. Paltering is its close cousin.

I’m with you on this. But the good thing is, we’re not alone.
Around 1 million liters (264,172 gallons) of urine are spilled onto the floor and walls of public restrooms each day in the U.S.
Find a niche in the natural sciences that you enjoy - bugs for example - then spend more time outside learning about it. We all spend way too much time on our phones. The whole world is out there!

That surgeon has some spleening to do…

Looks like the insulation in my attic.

Yup, first thing I thought of when I read the headline. I really enjoyed that book.

I’d second this.
Also, factoring in the price of a tune up is always a good idea when buying a used bike: you never know how long it’s been since the bike has been cared for.
I used to read the absolute shit out of these.
I think part of the reason they’re so fun is because they’re friction shifters (vs indexed). You get to FEEL the cable moving the derailleur instead of just a click.
Great bike, beautiful colour. I will always have a soft spot for the downtube shifters as my first “adult” bike had them and it’s how I learned to shift. Sadly my current bike has modern brifters which work excellent but… not quite the same

If the suburbs weren’t subsizided and homeowners had to pay premiums for living so far from central services it may change their opinion.

Snare one, wrap it in some kind of faraday bag, then disassemble it and resell the parts. Or befriend it and play Frisbee together.
I’m partial to 2006
