True, if you decide to partake of something like that and then converse about it with others, it is your duty as a traveler of the high seas to then provide them with an “ethically sourced” copy.

The best way to enjoy something that may benefit a problematic person is to simply acquire it in a way that doesn’t benefit them. Perhaps whilst on board a ship with a nice barrel of grog.
I miss being a bear bearian :(
In the 2024 rules you don’t take the animal forms HP so the druid in this case could easily tank that hit from Igor since they still have their base hp and you need to be at least level 8 to have a form with fly speed so plenty of hp in that pool.

I am of the old school mindset that stress cycles kill components. So, much like the centennial light, I don’t turn off pc’s ever. As a result I’ve only ever had one hard component failure (not including HDDs) over 31 years. Less energy efficient? Absolutely! But I’ll trade that for component life even if it’s a placebo.

True but even gas stoves, clothes driers, water heaters etc can produce lethal levels of carbon monoxide if not properly (or have clogged) venting. And ounce of prevention is better than a 6 foot hole.

Other countries use less flammable materials in their construction. Wood frame construction is very common in the US due to drastically lower cost of wood vs block. We also had something called balloon frame construction for many years which made it much more likely for fire to travel within the walls. That being said not having detectors isn’t a great idea either since most are combo smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Sadly the one by me has a small army of armed guards…
