Relevant excerpt:
"[…]not only does its demo contain AI-generated imagery throughout, but even the game’s key art is riddled with nonsensical buttons and mismatched stitching, as you can see in the image up top.
In response to fans instantly noticing this and criticising the team, even on Twitter, Panache have issued a statement that follows a now-familiar pattern of “Oh, how did this happen?!”:
A number of people have raised questions or concerns to us about whether assets in our marketing and game use generative AI.
We have a dedicated team of over a dozen talented and experienced artists. With them, we looked into the assets in question and found that there were indeed some early versions of assets that made their way into the the prologue. This includes some in-game portraits and external marketing assets.
We are actively reviewing the assets in question. Human made versions will be released in an update dropping soon.
We own up to this oversight and apologize for any upset caused. Please be assured that the Early Access and full game will not include any assets generated by AI.
"

I do think the author missed an opportunity to study how critics work and how they’re perceived in other fields, media literacy is a lot more prevalent in other art forms like cinema or literature, which leads to more value being given to reviews, which is lacking in the video game industry imo

read the article, there’s other points raised

Bunch of labels already popped up for various fields

It’s not the subject of the post though, OP is sharing their conspiracy theory related to a privacy app

I enjoyed the art and story, but somehow I got tired of the micro animations taking 1-2s of gameplay away evey time you wanted to interact with anything. Nice puzzles though, I thought the stars thing near the end was smart!

I think it might fluctuate given that their catalog varies with new entries and shows no longer being available, so youd have to check every now and then and compare the size of libraries vs subscription price over time

Oh alright, then I guess the most important thing would be to make sure it’s ActivityPub-compatible!

That would be Sharkey / Misskey I believe

French politicians love bringing up whatever clothing muslim women wear, every quarter you’re guaranteed to have a new debate bewteen old white men on what women should wear

The first game is playable but it’s only available on consoles, I haven’t played it myself but I heard it’s a good experience.
Sadly it won’t help you understand Destiny 2, as Bungie have completely butchered the game, removing key campaign-related content, entire playable areas (planets) of the game, and overall making the new player experience super confusing and unwelcoming.
The satisfying gunplay is unmatched but you have to consider if it’s enough to get into it

Relevant excerpt:
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.

Yeah that was already pointed out in the comments hence why i edited the title

Shit you’re right, I got misled by whoever shared it to me saying it leaked, I’ll update the title

They could afford to go live in French Polynesia, this family is privileged from the get go, they could afford any place in the world

I love that game exactly because of this, the random encounters, the crazy people, the funny ones, the awkward ones, when in the right lobby it’s such an interesting social experience
Hey I’m two days late sorry but you should try Steam’s interactive recommender https://store.steampowered.com/recommender/ you can filter by how old the games should be!
