Is the 3060 that bad, I’ve been able to play a lot of games on a 750 TI still (though finally swapped for a 1650).

Probably the context of taking a video recording, which is as common as ever with smartphones.

I wish some bugs would go extinct, bed bugs, mosquitos, ticks, maybe yellow jackets. Seems like those populations are strong than ever.

I feel like at this point, many of those are basically English words now. Like Déjà vu.

Every time an election comes up though, everyone is like “we need to vote for the democrats because third party/not voting is ‘a vote for the republicans’” and sadly I have to admit due to how first past the post elections work they do have a point. So any individual voting for anything other than a democrat (or not voting) makes it less likely the democrats win and more likely republicans win, and they’re by far the worse option (and still pro Israel).
Maybe Israel’s propaganda is to dissuade people from voting for anti-Israel politicians in the primaries and the like, rather than directly make them look good.

Is this budget for convincing the general public to support them, or convincing US politicians? Because if it’s the former I don’t see it working or anyone believing the lies. Bloomberg tried something similar to get into the democratic primary and I’m pretty sure he failed spectacularly.
But I’d bet it’s the latter, and I let buying US politicians will continue to be successful. Because if both republicans and democrats support Israel, even if the public hates them who else is there to vote for?

Lemmy for sure. I feel like a lot of my friends are passionate about trans issues because they are trans, but most people I know generally have a pretty negative sentiment about the war on Iran. Oh and they all love to talk about the Epstein files.
A lot of my coworkers even have a soft spot for Linux. And it feels like half the people in my life are autistic, have ADHD, or both.
Straight cycling routes with gentle curves and low grades and few intersections are great, what are you talking about? So much better than bike paths crammed next to a road or river with random twists and turns to get around car infrastructure, or worse, winding and convoluted neighborhood routes with lots of stop signs that make it take forever to get anywhere. If a trail goes from nowhere to nowhere, it would probably not have gotten frequent rail service anyway and is still useful to some people as a bike path.
I suppose it helps I’m on a fast ebike though and want to make my 11 mile commute in a reasonable amount of time.
I feel like many people oppose rails to trails because then there’s much less of a chance it will become rails again, so you have to let go of the hope of any sort of trains coming back. Though becoming a trail is certainly a lot better than the track land being split up and sold off to developers, since then there’s no chance.

I dunno it seems to match up with what most of my IRL friends believe in.

50 dollars and 0 cents isn’t a lot

It wasn’t common knowledge back then

I don’t like my roommates enough to even hang out let alone cuddle, but in August that will change and I’ll have roommates I do want to cuddle with.

I have a TV in my bedroom set up specifically for in case I have a friend over and we want to cuddle on the bed and watch stuff. It’s hooked up to my computer for ad-free YouTube but is separate from my regular computer monitor.
My roommates do have a living room TV but I feel weird about cuddling in front of them.

Like electric bicycles with controllers that can be easily swapped, programmed, and tinkered with?
I don’t wear one, it’s nice to see people’s faces. And sure it still exists, but we’re past the point of it being a big scary virus anymore, I don’t want to act like it’s 2020 and stunt my social growth.
I’m surprised how many people say they still wear masks, I feel like it’s 1 in 50 people at most, but these comments make me think it’s 1 in 2 people.
To be fair, two for one McDoubles seems like a pretty good deal. Why should I care about my data, they’re just using it for advertising/analytics, it’s not like they’re blackmailing me or stealing my identity or robbing me of something I could sell on my own. Seems like a pretty clear win-win: I get reasonably-priced meals and they get data that I wouldn’t be using anyway.
Now the constant notifications and hassle of downloading the app in the first place to get reasonable prices are a different story.
1080p is good enough for me, and 60fps is better than 30 (or teens).
