It’s been a while since I’ve read these but I had a lot of fun reading the “quantum physics for laypeople” books by Brian Greene (The Elegant Universe) and Sean Carroll (Something Deeply Hidden). The Disappearing Spoon by Sam Kean was also really cool, it discusses various chemical phenomena in an accessible way.


I have also really struggled with this phrase or concept in my life. Especially as a kid, I would get in trouble for one thing or another and would try to explain my thoughts or actions to try to create some understanding only to be cut off for making excuses. I probably learned some negative patterns from that.
Well at least Palantir is promising to be evil.
